Why?
Just as Sheila was about to close her eyes to rest again, she felt her phone vibrating in her pocket, but decided to ignore it, as she was exhausted and all she wanted was a moment of peace.
However, the vibration continued. The phone rang again and again.
"Treit, I think your phone is ringing."
Sheila let out an annoyed sigh.
"I don't feel like talking to anyone right now," she replied, closing her eyes and trying to ignore the annoying buzz.
But the phone didn't stop. It continued vibrating persistently, almost as if it knew Sheila was trying to ignore it and refused to be overlooked.
"Seriously... I think you should check it. It could be important," Benjamin insisted, this time in a more serious tone.
Sheila, clearly irritated, pulled the phone out of her pocket.
"Fine, fine. I'll check it. But if it's something silly, I'm going to be even more upset."
