"What do you suppose we should do about this?" Kymani asked as the shadows in the water started circling the boat. He got no response from Jonathan, "You gonna answer me?" He said as he looked over and saw Jonathan standing there at the edge of the boat looking down in the water, "You good man?" He asked Jonathan. Jonathan looked over to Kymani with fear in his eyes, "Yeah, I just don't do well with deep waters," Jonathan said, "Oh you have said that little bitch," Kymani said to him. "What, I'm a bitch because I'm scared of deep waters?" Jonathan said quickly looking back at Kymani who was nodding his head yes, "Fair enough," Jonathan said as he shrugged his shoulders. "Ok do we have some kind of paddle?" he asked as Kymani looked around avoiding eye contact, "Yeah so about that, I didn't think I'd need it so I threw it out," Kymani said, when he finally looked at Jonathan he was just looking at him with a smirk on his face standing there, "Ok since we don't have anything to paddle back we need to figure out what the things in the water are," Jonathan said as he got goggle out of his backpack.
"The hell you get those?" Kymani said, confused about how he got goggles, "I packed them for the cruise, so when we swam in the pool I didn't have chlorine in my eyes," He said as he put on the goggles and looked in the water. About two seconds later he popped out of the water with wide eyeballs, "What, what did you see," Kymani said, grabbing the goggles from Jonathan and putting them on. "Furry fish," Jonathan said as he started looking for another solution to their problem. *What is he talking about, what is a furry fish?* Kymani thought to himself as he looked down into the water. When he looked down he saw massive fish covered with fur, teeth the size of fingers, and human-like eyes all looking at him. "Yeah, furry fish that's a no-go," Kymani said, "We have nothing useful for our situation and I want to get back before dark," Jonathan said to Kymani as they sat down defeated. 30 minutes later Jonathan saw a red dot coming from the back of the boat, he walked over and when he opened the door to the compartment, he found 6 jury cans filled with fuel for the boat.
Kymani and Jonathan looked at the fuel and then at each other with slight smiles on their faces, "THE FUCK THIS SHIT COME FROM?" Kymani yelled as genuinely started tweaking. Jonathan was also mad as by the time that they were sitting there they would have already been back to the beach with the boys, but despite the slight anger they filled the boat and returned to the beach. "Boy, it's you!" As they looked over to the shelter place they saw all the boys running towards them with their arms open, "BOYS!" Jonathan and Kymani said as they ran towards them with their arms open. The 5 boys ran towards each other with their arms open wide and smiles on their faces, as they went in for a group hug, then they stopped. "This is kinda gay," James said as they all agreed, they just shook each other's hand respectfully and took all the supplies back to the boat. "I see that we have no fire right now," Kymani said to Clayden as he explained what happened while they were gone. "So you saw a black figure? Was it Kymani by chance?" Jonathan said as he laughed to himself, James was explaining to him what he saw in hopes that he'd believe him, "Don't worry I believe you," Jonathan said as James had a sigh of relief.
*Finally someone understands* James thought as he started looking through the things they brought back, *Nothing about this place is normal, it'd be dumb to not believe him* Jonathan thought as he sat down on a log looking at the shelter. He then looked over at the water and saw Toby also sitting on a log closer to the water, *I feel bad, he's got the worst of it all* Jonathan thought to himself. As the sun was setting Jonathan went to the water with a cast net and threw it in the water in hopes of getting some bait. He caught some shrimp and caught a big red fish that they could cook and eat. He took the shrimp from his fishing pole and fished for about an hour. He caught one fish and that was it, by this time it was turning night and he wanted to get a fire going, "GUYS GET DOWN RIGHT NOW!" Kymani yelled as the boys ran to him where he was hiding, "What's going on?" Clayden asked as Kymani shushed him while he held out his hand pointing his finger at something. When they looked they saw a black humanoid figure the same one that James saw but this time it was standing and not moving at all, *He was telling the truth now I feel bad* Clayden thought. The humanoid thing just turned towards them, held up its hand, and then walked the other direction of the boys. When it was out of sight the boys had a sigh of relief.
"I don't know what that thing is, but I kinda wanna name it," Jonathan said as the boys got a fire going. 'Why would you wanna name that thing?' James said looking at him confusingly, "I don't know he kinda needs a name," Jonathan said "Yeah he kinda cute in like an animal way," Clayden said, all the boys stopped what they were doing to look at him, "Ok well ignoring the weirdo, "I like black lightning," Kymani said offering his opinion. "Nah I think it should be the thing," Clayden said, "No we already called it," Jonathan said as he looked at James asking for his opinion. James sighed and reluctantly started thinking of a name, "What about dad?" He said jokingly, "Whoa man that's dark, I like it," Jonathan said as everyone else agreed. "Ok so the next time Dad comes back maybe we try talking to it," Jonathan said as they all sat around the fire and cooked the fish Jonathan caught. Then they slept on leaves full of sand, "Hopefully we can map out the island tomorrow," Kymani said as they all went to sleep.
