After a wonderful weekend, the five members of 'The Prides of Music' are meeting in Bangkok to attend an interview with ABC Media Group. The interview is pretty basic—just some questions about their upcoming tour. They are well aware of how to respond if the question is uncomfortable. They don't want to blabber about something and risk their careers for useless things.
After the interview, they gather in a room to plan their tour stops, including Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, Seoul, and Chiang Mai. Each member shares their ideas for quality time in each location. However, Tiwa's thoughts are consumed by Pravat, whom he hasn't seen since the incident in his hometown. He wonders if Pravat is doing okay.
Nervously chewing on his fingernails and tapping his foot on the floor, Tiwa can't seem to focus on the coffee in front of him. Time seems to drag on as he anxiously watches the clock on the wall. His gaze keeps drifting toward the door, hoping to catch a glimpse of Pravat walking in. But there is no sign of him anywhere.
He knows that thinking about Pravat is not good. It will spoil everything that he has worked hard for, not only for himself but also for everyone. Without any clue, he tries to recall what happened back in his hometown. His whole body trembles in fear as he remembers the worst moment. He can't handle his brother's rage anymore. Unconsciously, his fingers brush over his wrist and arm, causing him to flinch at the sudden remainder.
Another thirty minutes pass smoothly until a sound grabs Tiwa's attention, unmistakably clear. Though the words are muffled, Pravat's voice echoes in his ears, and shortly after, Pravat appears before him.
Tiwa's eyes immediately meet Pravat's, causing his mouth to go dry. It's not the first time, but every time feels new. He shakes himself from his dreaming state and tears his gaze away. "Get your head back in the game, Tiwa. Stop obsessing over Pravat so damn much. It's not right," he scuffs his foot against the floor. "You should remember that he came into your life again to take revenge on your brother by using you."
He feels Pravat's gaze on him, but he is too afraid to look up and risk being caught staring. He sighs and leans back in his chair, reaching for his headphones that are already threaded through his shirt and putting the buds in his ears. This is his usual routine whenever he wants to avoid interacting with others.
He pulls his phone out of his pocket, keeping it close to his leg as he skims through his playlist, hoping some music will work wonders for his heart. He looks for a catchy melody with lyrics to get his blood pumping and his mind moving. Lost in the music and his attempt to control himself, he doesn't even notice when a presence sits in the chair next to him.
"Hey," he jumps when he feels a familiar jab at his shoulder. He looks over, yanking one bud out of his ear, and is surprised to see Pravat with no one surrounding them.
Pravat grabs the earbud the omega has been holding and plops it in his ear. "What are you listening to?" He asks, but he doesn't give Tiwa a chance to answer. "Ugh, what is this?" Glowing stars, bullshit? You got any Super B?" He tugs on the cord, trying to pull Tiwa's phone out of his pocket.
"What are you doing?" Tiwa intercepts, grabbing his phone to prevent Pravat from scrolling through his playlist. "It's my music. I never said you could listen," he says, pretending to be annoyed. He tries to make Pravat stay away from him before anyone approaches and sees them together, especially his brother. He doesn't want to break Jaran's trust and collapse everyone's dream for his own selfishness.
Pravat doesn't seem to mind it, even though he understands Tiwa's behavior. This only makes the situation worse as they continue their tense interaction.
Kiat sees them together, so he immediately calls Jaran. The next instant, Jaran appears out of nowhere and stands between Pravat and Tiwa, getting up in his enemy's face. "I know what you're trying to do. Maybe I could fall for your game and hurt Tiwa in our hometown just like you wished. But it will never happen again. I won't fall for your tricks again," he declares firmly.
Gritting his teeth, Pravat turns his gaze toward Tiwa, as if searching for something in him. Caught off guard, Tiwa instinctively pulls his sleeve down and shakes his head, unsure of his own actions. The intensity of Pravat's gaze and the powerful pheromones emanating from him overwhelm Tiwa, forcing him to lower his eyes to the floor to escape the anger radiating from Pravat.
Failing to understand the gravity of the situation, Jaran invades Pravat's personal space and grabs him by the collar to make a clear statement. "Ten years ago, I threw you through the table. But this time, I will murder you if you continue tormenting Tiwa. You still have time to back down," he warns.
"Back down?" Pravat laughs hysterically.
In the blink of an eye, Jaran is thrown over a nearby table with a heavy thud, and he groans in pain. Hearing the noise, their bandmates enter the room and wonder what is going on. When they figure it out, some of them try to help Jaran, while others try to calm Pravat.
Tiwa watches as the situation unravels in the worst way, looking up at Pravat with wide eyes at what he's done. It shouldn't be happening. It will create the worst, not the best, outcome. His heart hurts from the possible future scenarios, which will be painful. He begs Pravat with his eyes to control himself when the alpha growls and tries to attack again.
Despite Tiwa's desperate look, Pravat is consumed by anger and remains intent on harming Jaran. In a determined effort to prevent him, Tiwa steps in between them and places a hand on Pravat's chest, trying to stop him from moving forward. "Please," he murmurs, hoping to diffuse the tense situation and shield Jaran from harm.
Pravat growls and grabs Tiwa's hand, pulling the sleeve up to check for any wounds. The scar on his wrist caused by the broken vase still doesn't fade away, so Tiwa pulls his hand free and covers his wrist quickly, not wanting Pravat to cause further damage to anyone. Pravat looks up at Tiwa's fearful eyes and gets back to his control slowly before rushing out and slamming the door shut on his way.
