I folded my clothes and stashed them in my dresser. I put my books on the shelves that had been nailed to the walls. I made my bed with my sheets, and looked at the time on my phone. 10:34. It would be a while before nightfall. A while before I went out and patrolled the streets-A knock sounded on my door, breaking me from my thoughts. "Who is it?" I asked, probably sounding annoyed. "Our teacher wants to talk to you, Shelby." I shook my head, and went out my room, nodding to Elizabeth. "He's right outside." "Yeah, thanks." I opened the door, and went outside, finding who I assumed to be our teacher. She had short, red hair, and blue eyes. She wore a jumped with flower prints on it, paired with cowgirl boots. "Its Shelby, isn't it?" She asked, looking at me. "Yes. Elizabeth said you wanted to talk to me?" "Yes, yes, of course. I'm the teacher of your class, Ms. Violet. I wanted to ask what your power was." "Oh. Well, since you asked.." I crouched, and placed a hand on the ground, looking for something. Once I felt it, I willed it to rise, and the ground cracked, allowing a skeleton to climb up and onto the ground. "Oh, my-!" Ms. Violet yelled, a hand at her neck. "That's-Oh my God-that's phenomenal! I've never seen anything like it!" I sent the skeleton back to where it came from. "I can do more, too." "Well, do go on. I want to see your power so I can help to train and coach you." I nodded, and focused, gathering the shadows around me. (A/N, Shelby was part of a Percy Jackson roleplay, and her father was Hades-) I willed them to warp over me like a blanket. "Hmm." I sent the shadows away, back to where they had come from. "I can also talk to dead animals and humans. And I can also teleport." "So, basically, you have multiple powers in one?" I nodded. Ms. Violet smiled. "Now that I know what your power is, how do you feel about making your own hero costume?"
