Minutes later, Ms. Violet had led me to a lab room full of mannequins that were clothed in different styles. Some were colorful, while others were more dark, and some had cloaks while others had capes or just a helmet for an accessory. "You can take as long as you need to come up with your hero costume. As long as it isn't a full year." Ms. Violet said, coming up beside me. "This lab is where students use their style to create an outfit that will forever be theirs. If they want to make edits to it, they can. If they need something to help them with their power, we'll provide it. But I'll leave you to it. Just be back at your dorm by-" She looked at the silver watch on her wrist, which I had noticed for the first time. "Let's see, that'd give you...five hours." "So I'll have to be back by four?" I asked, doing the math in my head. She smirked. "You got it." Affer a minute, she clapped her hands. "We'll, I'll leave you to it! Oh-and don't forget to come up with a hero name, ok?" I nodded, and she left, closing the door behind her. I put both my airpods in, and played some music-starting with a song called Take me Away by New Medicine. I jammed along, and found an empty mannequin, which I placed in the center of the room. I then went over to the racks and racks of fabric, picking out the obvious choice-black. Then, I took it to the sewing machine, and started crafting. After a few minutes, I had the top figured out. It was a crop top that looked like the edges had been burned. I slipped it onto the mannequin. Then, I went back to the sewing machine, and started making the bottom part. Which turned out to be a knee-length skirt. I also slipped that onto the mannequin. After that, I went over to the rack of fabric, and chose another color-white. I made the scarf, which had a skeleton on it, and almost reached the floor when wrapped around the mannequin. I looked at it, taking a step back. I loved it, but something was missing. The mask. I went back to the fabrics, and grabbed the gold, then made a mask out of it. I was even able to glue some fake, black feathers onto it. I pinned it to the mannequin and looked at it again. It looks more like a villain, but hey, she said students use their style, and this is mine, so...I thought, smiling. Suddenly, someone pulled the airpods from my ears, and I turned to see who it was. "Connor." I spat out, crossing my arms. "What do you want?" He smirked. "Nothing. Just wanted to say that I think your powers are cool." Then, his eyes flicked to the mannequin behind me. "Wow. Thats your style, huh?" He examined it closely. "Looks like something a-" "Villain would wear, yes, I know. I thought the same thing. Now, give me my airpods, and get out. I've got to try this on." I expected him to argue with me, but he did as I asked, and I changed into the outfit, then looked into the mirror. "Damn. I know how to make an outfit."
