Chapter 8 - She finally talks.

Lilith was taken aback when she whirled around and bumped into a tall brode figure.

He was 6 '6 feet tall, and because of his height, Lilith could reach the figure in his stomach region and as she glared at his shoe, the first thing she noticed was that he was rich.

His black shoe seemed custom-made, and it gave the appearance of a refined figure.

Lilith moved her head to look at the face of the figure grooming above her, and the first thing she saw was his built.

His chest was well-structured beneath the black long-sleeve he had on.

The young man had a black crew cut hair that was nicely combed and intact, and his eyes were golden hue, both enticing and captivating.

They exuded a magnetic allure, leaving Lilith captivated and yearning to explore his features further.

However, a mysterious black mask shrouded his nose, fueling her curiosity.

Her eyes roamed his physique, pausing at his broad, powerful shoulders.

His shoulder was broad, giving the appearance that the young man was a gym fanatic.

Lilith glares at the young man as if he were a giant, and he glares back at her as if she were an ant that has come to disturb his serenity.

Her lips open slightly as she stares at the handsome figure, her gaze sweeping him from head to toe.

"Boss Merlin." Someone called out for the gorgeous young man, so he shifted his gaze away from Lilith.

"Pfft!" He scuffed, shaking his head sideways, and walked past Lilith without saying sorry.

Lilith, on the other hand, didn't care that he hadn't apologized because his handsomeness had robbed her of her ability to think.

Lilith snapped back to reality once the attractive young man was no longer in view.

Shaking her head sideways, she sighed. "Gush! "I need to see the interviewer," Lilith said to herself as she walked towards the lift.

Lilith exhaled as she stepped out of the elevator passing by others who were seated and waiting to be interviewed.

"Miss you have already been interviewed so you can't go inside the…"

Before the lady in charge of calling names could complete her statement, Lilith shoved her out of her front as she barged inside the interview room, without bothering to knock.

As the door flung open, Lilith's eyes landed on the interviewer and a lady who he was interviewing.

Lilith could tell from the lady's expression that the interviewer had rejected her, because the lady's eyes were full of tears.

Lilith scuffed her feet as she pulled out her phone and began typing.

"You are a jerk! Do you think you are my God, and what gives you the right to reject me for working for you?"

As Lilith finished typing, she closed the gap between herself and the man and showed it to him.

She wanted to keep typing but knew it would be devoid of value, so she started using sign language.

"You should have asked me if I was born mute, sir, but you did not. How could you reject me because I don't speak?" She inquired, her fingertips trailing down her aggression.

"This is a drawing interview," Lilith asserted, her passion evident. "My artwork was promptly accepted upon submission, granting me this opportunity. And, frankly, I don't need my voice to create art, do I?" She questioned using sign language, her boldness unwavering.

The man simply gazed at her, perplexed by the flurry of hand gestures that formed her words.

His inability to comprehend sign language left him struggling to grasp the full meaning behind her expressive communication.

Lilith smiled as she shifted her gaze to the lady who had been crying, and she noticed the lady video her.

"Is the video a live video?" Lilith gestured to the lady, who nodded and smiled back at her.

Lilith decided to take advantage of the live video. "This man can't understand sign language yet he graduated from college but me… me who can understand sign language and I can even see and hear was disapproved of a job that doesn't need me to use my voice to draw and…"

Before Lilith could finish signing, the interviewer violently shoved a book at her.

"Would you stop using your finger to say bad things about me?" He screamed, rising from his chair as he launched towards the lady who was videoing.

He believed that Lilith's sign language involved bad words.

"Give me the phone!" He commanded the lady.

"I can't give you my phone sir." The lady responded.

The man scowled and aggressively attacked the lady's phone with grunted teeth.

Lilith rushes to assist the lady who refuses to let her phone go.

As Lilith tried to pull the man away, he turned around and grabbed her with full power.

Security personnel entered the room to separate the chaotic situation.

The lady in charge of calling the names of interviewers happened to be the same one who called security.

Lilith and the lady who was recording ultimately raise their hands in surrender, pledging not to make a scene.

"Escort them out of the company building." The interviewee spat bitterly, gazing at Lilith with a murderous expression.

"That's right. If they don't take me out of the company building, I will come back for you." Lilith used her finger to sign as she spoke to the interviewer, who didn't understand what she said.

Soon, Lilith and the lady were led out of the company building, and Lilith sighed as they stood outside.

"I apologize for causing you problems. I saw you cry earlier, and I realize my actions must have put you in a tough situation." Lilith made a sign to the lady while apologizing.

"You don't need to apologize. Besides, I wasn't going to get the job anyhow, so I didn't lose anything." The lady replied. "I have tons of followers on Instagram so I hope that the owner of the company sees the video and fires that jerk." She added with a smile.

Lilith chuckles gently as she smiles back at the lady, their eyes fixed on each other.

"I have to get going now." She uttered and Lilith nodded and waved at the lady.

As Lilith stood still waiting for a cab, a man on her left side unexpectedly bumped into her.

The man appeared to be pounding his phone and not paying attention to where he was going.

"Watch it would you." He spat, his voice frigid.

Lilith scoffed. "Did he just yell after bumping into me?" She inquired, rage coursing through her veins.

With a scowl on her face, she gripped the man's chilly wrist, and as she pulled him, he turned to stare at her with distaste.

Lilith scuffed. He was tall, probably 6'9 a towering figure, even more so than the man she had encountered earlier.

The air around him radiated a chill that sent shivers down her spine, bringing goosebumps to her skin.

His all-black attire only heightened the sense of mystery and allure and he had polished shoes, tailored trousers, and a fitted suit, all hinting at a powerful physique concealed beneath the layers of fabric.

One could tell that he has a well-defined, muscular frame hidden beneath the elegant layers, leaving just enough to the imagination to pique curiosity and desire.

Lilith found herself lost in the depths of his golden, hypnotic gaze. As the sunlight danced upon his eyes, their hue flickered with an almost ethereal radiance.

He has a sharp nose that appears to have been sculpted by God himself due to its beauty.

Mesmerized, Lilith's gaze traced a path to the stranger's lips… soft, pink, and surprisingly pale, invoking the delicate, innocent beauty of a child's.

Her fascination intensified as she witnessed the rhythmic rise and fall of his Adam's apple, igniting a blaze of desire within her.

"Gosh, they're sexy!" she thought, the heat of her inner passion threatening to overwhelm her.

Despite the irresistible allure of his physique, an icy veil of mystery shrouded him, leaving unanswered questions hanging in the air.

Lilith, determined to break the spell his presence had cast, shook her head and lunged forward.

She seized the wire of his earpiece, yanking it away to demand his undivided attention.

"Are you blind?" Lilith signed fiercely, frustration mounting as she refused to resort to her phone for communication. "Can't you see that you bumped into me?" she continued, her hands moving with an impassioned urgency.

He looked back at her, bewilderment etched on his face as he struggled to decipher the meaning behind her rapid gestures.

Lilith, with no other option, took out her phone and decided to communicate through it. "You have to try and apologize, okay? You had bumped into me." She typed and showed it to him.

The young gorgeous man arched his brow at her, glancing at the text on her phone in bewilderment.

"Can't you read?" Lilith typed, annoyed.

Once more, the young man arched his brow, attentively staring at Lilith's lips.

The fact that the man was staring at her as if he couldn't read, see, or speak fueled Lilith's rage even more.

'Besides, he can speak.' Lilith pondered inside herself, remembering that he had muttered something when he crashed into her.

"What's your problem?" Lilith lashed out, her venomous words piercing the air between them. "Your good looks don't excuse your lack of manners. Even a simple nod of acknowledgment would have sufficed as an apology," she snapped, her icy glare challenging him to respond.

"Hello, mortal," he finally spoke, his rich, resonant voice sending shivers down her spine. "You have a sexy voice," he added with a tantalizing wink.

Lilith's eyes widened in shock as the realization hit her—she had just spoken aloud.

"What the hell?!" she exclaimed, both bewildered and alarmed by this sudden, inexplicable change.

"You've done a great thing, intervening for that fragile mortal when she was on the brink of losing her sanity," A mysterious young man uttered coldly, his tone laced with an icy disdain.

Unfazed by his demeanor, the lady responded with a sly grin, her voice dripping with feigned sweetness. "I'm thrilled to have your praise for my good deed," she retorted, her amusement evident beneath the facade of sweetness.

Her gaze locked on the man, her tone shifted from cheerful to chilling. "Don't forget to return the favor, Master," she declared, her gaze fixed on the figure resting within the coffin, his arms serenely folded across his chest.

"I won't, little witch." He added, a sly smirk playing at the corner of his lips.
