What if he had encountered a dangerous situation where he would be forced to the edge?
What if he had encountered a situation where he would be separated from Drew and met a monster which was cunning and pushed him to the edge?
What if he had met a poisonous monster and gotten poisoned in an attempt to kill it?
There was only one solution to such a dilemma- the Healing potion, guaranteed to heal all your wounds and restore your lost energy thereby pushing back fatigue.
As Rem threw the vial aside, he felt truly alive… his energy had been restored, in fact he felt even stronger and that was not all- the burns that were inflicted on his palm upon grabbing the arrow were healed.
His eyes went back to the SpiderGob, momentarily shaken by Rem's recovery… it's skin even turning pale at witnessing the boy's wicked smile.
"My lost magic cannot be restored by a regular healing potion though," Rem muttered under his breath and then raised the arrow at the SpiderGob uninterestedly.
'An immobile opponent with an ability enough to kill an E-grade,' Rem thought as he let off three arrows, each of them burning with magical energy as they impaled the SpiderGob and seared into it's flesh… robbing it of life at a mere moment's notice.
The System screen appeared in front of Rem once again, alerting him that he had killed once again.

Even with Rem feeling restored- the feeling of dread lurking within every corner of this forest had not disappeared, he quickly withdrew the Magical item back into his soul and began walking away… the corpse of the monster slowly decomposing into ashes which soon was whisked through the air by the wind.

"It was stupid to run off," Drew said as he sat on a fallen stump, heating up their breakfast with a fire, "You could have gotten yourself killed,"
Drew already knew Rem had some abilities of his own- despite his unwillingness to show them, but that glimpse of green he had seen Rem riding on before he interrupted must have been something right?
"But I didn't," Rem said while chewing on his meat- the juicy fluids staining his cheek and chin yet he didn't do anything to hinder them, each bite restored the missing bits of energy that was missing in his body and besides he hadn't tasted meat in a long time.
"What happened to the Monster?" Drew asked.
"I lost it by running in the opposite direction after ripping a little fabric away from my short," Rem replied while hanging up the loose fabric which served as his makeshift knickers.
Drew widened his eyes.
"After that I doused myself in a nearby stream and ran off, taking another direction to get here," Rem said with a shrug.
At a glance he could tell that the anomaly wasn't just tracking him from it's eyes alone or Rem would have been able to lose it… no the anomaly was also tracking him by the sense of smell and he made sure to confirm it before getting here.
By Drew's expression, he knew that what he was saying was also true…
"Fine, I'm glad you weren't hurt," Drew said and gave a relieved sigh.
Rem averted his attention to a much more important subject, this piece of meat in his hand-
'I really didn't think meat could be this good,' Rem thought but once again he reminded himself not to get too attached to the taste once he officially became Drew's apprentice- it was not like he would have it stuffed in his face every dinner, would he?
After eating for a while, Rem set his plate aside and stared at Drew for a while- his eyes taking in the man's figure before they landed on Frieda- chomping down on her meat like a beast she was… All he was going to do as an Apprentice was to master techniques and even learn Convergence while he was at it, after all, it seemed to be a great tool to have as a Cavalier and maybe he would be able to use it to bully other Magus at the Academy, that was once he attended though.
Until then he would be focused on training his body and mind as well as mastering his magic and building his army even more, it was going to take a lot of time but Rem was sure he would be able to stand at the peak- as long as he had the System.
Drew cleared his throat and smiled.
"It will take us about 3 hours to reach the outskirts of our destination- Orion town," Drew said, "And then you can begin your combat training,"
Rem suppressed his surprised gaze- they had actually navigated through the dangerous parts of the forest on their trek and was now near the destination…. He never thought he would be so happy leaving the deadly forest- It didn't even give him any souls for battling monsters at all and he was putting his life on the line, he didn't want to be here any time soon.
'It's finally time,' Rem realized while easing his back on the stub where he was sitting against- the fight with Drew apparently had been more heated as several trees were cut in half by the onslaught but the Cavalier had emerged from the battle with a little scratch on the cheek.
He could finally work on that imperfect flawed battle stance and probably learn some new Cavalier skills which would be great for his survival when he finally began traveling before he came of age to enter the Magus Academy- sure being a Cavalier had it's quirks but he had never heard of a Cavalier becoming a Monarch before… it was only Magus that rose to that level.
It was only then that Drew saw the expression fitting of a kid on the boy's face.
'Lord Flame is the greatest monarch,'
