Simulation, what was it?
Immediately after Andrew thought of it, using his integrated computer system chip, he easily accessed the internet.
He got 2 definitions for what he wanted that stuck with him.
Simulation is the imitative representation of the functioning of one system or process by means of the functioning of another.
Simulation was also the examination of a problem often not subject to direct experimentation by means of a simulation device.
Andrew broke this definition down for himself.
During his everyday life, he already learned of the simulation properties of his integrated Camdragon G66 chipset.
He remembered that day vividly when he tried to throw a pack of snacks into the dustbin from a distance only to miss his target.
Immediately after, the familiar interface of his computer system superimposed with his vision again.
{Error due to parallax detected!}
{Searching for a solution…, please wait…}
{Solution found!}
{WARNING! Making use of this solution takes 35% of the computer system's total power, massively reducing energy for daily activities and also reducing time before next recharge.}
Yes, after the operation that changed his life, Andrew was no longer a regular human being.
As a half robot, half human now, his life changed in so many ways that he already got used to within the past 6 months.
Andrew no longer had use for the toilet, nor did he really need to eat.
Everyday, by 2:00pm in the afternoon was his recharge time.
Lucius Volstad would recharge his energy reserves, filling him with enough energy and nutrition that would take him through another 24 hours.
This was how he lived now.
But what his computer system suggested to him then would reduce this time, most likely putting him at risk.
But having died once already, Andrew was not scared of taking risks.
He accepted the computer system's proposal then.
{Solution to errors due to parallax and similar errors: Simulation!}
{The computer system has the ability to simulate any scenario accurately and is only limited due to the capabilities of the Camdragon G66 chipset processor.}
{Through simulation, you will know the exact trajectory, the exact height, and all external parameters like wind and humidity will be calculated to make sure that in the end, you meet your goal.}
That day, Andrew simulated the scenario with the trash again.
And when he threw another trash at the dustbin, it was worth it. Like he was an Olympic medal winning archer, the trash fell in the dustbin accurately.
Andrew got an idea due to this and the boss' prompting.
His computer system's simulation was limited only due to the low capability of his integrated chipset processor.
But what of the processor running a giant machine like a mech?
The processor running the Lombubos Knight III was at least 10 or even 20 times better than his Camdragon G66 chipset.
The boss said he noticed his computer system interacting with the system of the Lombubos Knight III, what if this interaction went even further to simulation?
What is his computer system becomes capable of simulating complicated scenarios like mech combat by utilizing the power of the mech's super processor?
"…!"
Just thinking about it left Andrew's heart racing wildly.
Besides, what if this didn't end there, but somehow his ultimate simulation system becomes capable of enabling his computer system's simulation in the simulated world of the system?
Andrew's eyes widened. 'That weird old man, did he know that I'll become half human/half robot? Is that why he gave me this system?'
Everything finally started making sense to him.
Andrew was the kind of person that once he got an idea, his curiosity becomes so rabid that he is restless until he confirms it.
Andrew wanted to confirm it now!
He accessed his system immediately.

"Damn!" Andrew cursed beneath his breath.
He still had 8 freaking hours to wait.
Andrew tried to sleep but he could not, he was restless.
In the end, standing up, he left his room. At this moment, he was too restless to stay in one place, he feared that he would destroy something in his room.
Returning to the hangar bay, Andrew discovered that it was busy again.
There, he quickly joined the mech technicians. "Hey James, let me help".
"You're bored again?" The mech technician chuckled.
"Yeah". Andrew answered absentmindedly.
Then, picking spanners and other tools from the toolbox, he started working on one of the big mechs to make sure that it was in piloting condition.
Doing this, Andrew was finally able to take his mind off it.
2 hours later, he was tired and going to his room again, he finally slept.
…
Lucius Volstad's office…
Ring! Ring!
~Incoming call from Sergeant Theodore Bane~
Seeing this call on the simulated screen, Lucius Volstad furrowed his brows. 'How did he know?' He thought. 'He's got an informant in here?'
He picked the call though.
Click!
And then came the roaring voice of anger.
"LUCIUS, WHAT IN SEVEN HELLS DID YOU DO WITH MY SUBORDINATE?!"
Lucius Volstad covered his ears to protect them. "Chill out man, he's fine, he didn't die".
"What do you mean?" The Sergeant was absolutely fuming.
Lucius stared at him suspiciously. "You got an informant inside my mech company? Who? Tell me let me purge him".
The Sergeant just glared at him. "Why did you do it?" He asked through gritted teeth.
"This is why I hate dealing with mech designers, especially you, you're just too radical for my liking".
"Both of our jobs and careers are on the line, yet here you are, casually playing with it like its just some building blocks toy".
Lucius stared into this Sergeant's eyes. "Don't worry, I'm in control".
"What if you lose control?"
"I guess, we're both screwed, right?" He chuckled.
Sergeant Theodore gritted his teeth some more. "You better not make any mistake because if you do, I'll personally kill you first".
"Ok man, I believe you".
The Sergeant finally ended the call.
Scratching his golden hair, the golden-eyed Lucius Volstad paid attention to the virtual screen again that currently showed Andrew in his room.
'I wonder if I'd really die'. He thought idly.
…
8 hours passed, and finally, the system time reset.
Without hesitation, Andrew made use of his daily simulation ticket again and then in the simulation world, he tried it.
Did it work?
…it worked!
