Magnus nervously held the hands of Irwin Kent, who had offered to shake him.
"Mr Kent, I never thought I would welcome you into my home,"
"I never thought so too, seeing how much you contemplated," Irwin said, sitting comfortably on the couch. He crossed his legs, staring around. There were no pictures, but they looked like they were supposed to. The wall paint was cleaner than the whole wall paint. Magnus fidgeted as he stared around places that seemed uncommon, like where their wedding photo was supposed to be.
Irwin chuckled. "Won't you offer me something to drink?" He asked, taking out his cigarette and lighting it.
"I wasn't really expecting you, Mr Irwin, so I didn't have much time to prepare you for something. I can go to the supermarket..."
"I thought you had a wife? Shouldn't she have done it?" Irwin's pirecing gaze caught Magnus, and he shivered even more, avoiding his gaze. A minute after a long suspenseful silence. "Come on, I'm just joking! Let it go, man!" Irwin got up and put his hand around Magnus shoulder.
Irwin looked at the men who came in with him— his secretary and bodyguards. "Make yourself at home!"
Ten minutes later. Magnus had cooked some chicken soup and white rice, while the guards ate, they made a huge noise. Magnus grabbed a drink, heading straight to where Irwin sat with his secretary. He held two bottles in his hand, handing one to Irwin.
The doorbell rang, Irwin looked towards the door and back at Irwin. "I ordered some pizza," Magnus said.
Irwin nodded. One of the guards insisted on getting the door, and Magnus continued a conversation with Irwin, but not for too long when he heard a familiar voice behind him. Goosebumps gripped him, and he turned around.
"Honey," the timid voice interrupted. Magnus turned around, shaking slightly. "I didn't know you had this much guest," the room went silent.
Magnus looked back at Irwin and Eisley, who had dressed in a pretty red short gown. She wore a v-neck design revealing her dedicated clavicle, and her bosom was almost popping out of her dress. The hem of her dress was above her thighs, and the dress hugged her figures, exposing her curvy shape. Eisley's heart trembled in her chest while she held a small sliver bag.
Her sliky sandy brown hair flowed down her back to her waist with curly waves. Although some of her bruises were exposed, her ivory skin glowed a little more. Her meadow green eyes held the gaze of a seagreen eyes. Irwin Kent, she thought, he was a man of green eyes and light blond hair as those ladies predicted.
"Oh, I'm sorry, you asked me to..."
"Eisley, what do you think you're doing?" Magnus asked.
"Hey hey, now, Magnus," Irwin pat his shoulder, walking closer. "Don't you think you should introduce me to this beautiful lady right here?"
Eisley managed a smile, but it disappeared the moment Magnus looked at her.
"Pardon my sister, Mr Kent,"
"Sister? What do—" she paused. If she was his sister, wouldn't it be better off?
"Your sister?" Irwin looked at Eisley, sizing her. He blinked slowly and whispered to Magnus.
"Would you give me your sister for the night then?" His eyes never left Eisley.
Magnus gulped hard that his Adam apple rolled, and he dropped to his knees. "Forgive me, Mr Kent, I'm sorry I lied, spare me once!"
Irwin pushed his hands into his pocket, staring at Eisley, but she lowered her gaze staring at her husband, her hands itched her arms where the bruise were, her uncanny behavior caught Irwin's attention, the tiny smile that inched her lips while she looked at her husband beg, she didn't look sorry at all. Eisley was different from the women or wives he had been with or seen. He looked at Magnus.
"Eisley," he called, Eisley hiccupped, looking up at him. Irwin took two steps closer to her, raised his hands in the air, and Eisley eyes shut tightly, she flinched and fell down instinctively covering her face immediately. "Ahhh, I see," Irwin remarked drily.
"I promise it would never happen again, I didn't know my wife..." Magnus continued rambling.
Irwin's secretary, Robert, walked forward, whispering to him. He nodded and reached out to Eisley, "You're pretty. Why don't you escort me to my car?"
Eisley looked at Magnus, shaking. Her lips quivered, but she spoke. "I...i– will,"
Irwin pulled her up, and her hands pressed against his body. Eisley hiccupped even more as she felt his hands wrap around her waist.
"Prepare the car, we are leaving," He spoke never taking his gaze of hers.
Irwin's hands remained on her waist, a few inches away from her butt. Magnus fumed, staring at them. He might have hit Eisley whenever he felt like, but she was someone he would never share. From the very moment he saw Bright Eisley for the first time, he knew he had to make her his. And that happened immediately when she turned 18, although he was seventeen years older. He could never let Irwin take Eisley, anyone, but not her.
Once they arrived at the parking lot. Eisley slipped out of his hold and dropped to her knees. She glanced around, shivering from the fear of Magnus watching.
"Please, take me with you, please," she begged.
"Why did you do it?"
"I heard you can have any woman you desire. Please desire me. If I go back, I won't make it alive,"
Irwin sighed. "He won't kill you, even though he beats you, he loves you too much to kill you, "
"If death was an option, I would have done so, but it is not, I don't mind being anything you desire, but take me with you please, I beg you! I will do anything you ask of me,"
"And what makes you think I am better than your husband, you don't know me, I could be worst, woman. I'll only advise you to be more calculative and never repeat this mistake. You should go inside now. Your husband is waiting for you,"
"Please! Don't let me go back in there, please! I beg you, even though it is one soul you save, please help me, please save me, you are more powerful than Magnus,"
Irwin bent down to her size, "Don't kid yourself, you're no one special," his cold green eyes flickered with a ruthless, hard look. Their eyes held each other gaze, Eisley wasn't backing down, she had already started this, why end it? "Tell me why I should save you?"
"I can cook, and clean, you don't need to pay me, as long as I stay with you, it would be fine, you don't even need to take care of me, I just need your protection. Power, you have more power than Magnus, or I could become your sex toy... no... uh, yes... anything!" she crawled closer to him, grabbing his leg. Irwin's eyes gaped wide, and he looked at her hands wrapping his leg. "You don't look well fed, I can feed you and all your guards, huh?"
He eyed Eisley and got up, kicking her hands away, but she wouldn't let go. She continued with the list of things she could do for him.
Irwin groaned, trying to push her away, until his guards ran forward, helping to separate them.
Once they had succeeded, Irwin adjusted his white suit, staring at her. He urged to roll his eyes, getting into the car. Once the door shut, the car started. Eisley struggled out of the arms of the hefty men holding her, but it was impossible.
As the car drove out of the parking lot, they realised her, getting into their own car. Today might not be her funeral, but it was going to be worse than other days. The parking lot was empty, what was she doing? Why did she do it? Tears rolled down her cheek.
"Eisley?" She jumped, moving away. Magnus stood with his hands behind. "What was that?" He asked.
Eisley gulped, and her body trembled, "What was?" Magnus gave her no space. He grabbed her hair, pulling her into the building. "Magnus, please!" Eisley cried.
"You're a dead rat," he said. Eisley held her hair, following behind him. A dead rat would have been better than her.
Before they could get into the building, there was a loud screech in the parking lot that startled them. The car parked a few feet away, and Irwin got down.
Magnus immediately let go of her, and she signed in relief. Irwin walked to the other side of the door openingthe door, "Get in,"
Magnus looked at Eisley, and their eyes met for a brief moment.
"Do you want me to wait? You promised to serve me well, get in,"
Eisley took slow steps away from Magnus, trembling, as soon as she came closer. Irwin blocked her way.
Their eyes locked in each other for a while, and Irwin groped her ass, pulling her to his body. Eisley quivered under his touch.
"You said you would do anything?" Irwin whispered. She nodded, "Then kiss me. Now," he ordered.
Eisley's eyes went misty. She immediately wrapped her hands around his neck, tiptoeing and pressing her lips against his. Five years of torture was finally over. Irwin closed his hands around her neck, kissing her eyes harder.
Irwin gaze met Magnus, and he bowed. Irwin was curious, curious to know how Magnus felt as his beloved wife kissed him so eagerly. Suddenly, he never wanted to let go of her.
Irwin pulled away and helped Eisley into the car, shutting the door.
He looked at Magnus, whose head remained lowered. "I expect you to be at work tomorrow,"
"Yes, sir," Magnus bowed even more.
The bodyguard opened the door for Irwin, and he got in.
Magnus watched as the car drove away. He fumed, raging, tearing his heart. How dare Eisley betray him? How dare she leave him? He punched the wall but screamed as it ached.
"Damn you, Eisley! You're mine!" He slammed the wall.
