Chapter 7 - COME HOME, HUH?

"Can you come home, huh?" Cecily's smile shook across her face, and her hands were restless.

Eisley snorted and covered her mouth with her hands. She cleared her throat, looking at Cecily.

"Come home, huh?" She said, trying her best not to laugh. A few eyes were on her, and she didn't want to ruin this for Irwin.

"Yes, can you come home? Gosh, I miss you. The house is empty without you," Cecily said.

"How? I bet this dress does look pretty on you,"

Cecily laughed awkwardly. "Come on, is it just because of a dress? Is that why you won't come home? Listen, if you come home, I promise to treat you better. I'll urge Magnus not to hit you anymore,"

"Is that all?"

Cecily blinked, "Ugh, also, I'll stop taking your clothes and stop sleeping in your matrimonial bed," She shrugged.

Eisley chuckled and lowered her head. Her smile was short-lived, she raised her head to Cecily. "Gosh! That's a tempting offer. I really want to come home after hearing this,"

"Right? That's right, we can go home tonight," Cecily laughed anxiously.

"But," Eisley inhaled sharply.

"But? Why is there a but?" Cecily took a step closer.

"I don't know, should I? Should I not?" Eisley asked, walking beside her.

"Miss Mercer, Mr Kent is looking for you," Robert interrupted.

Eisley looked in his direction. He bowed slightly, showing her the way. Eisley was about to leave when Cecily grabbed her hands.

"Eisley, don't go, please," Her eyes gaped apologetically. It wasn't true, "Eisley said to herself, Cecily was just a cunning snake who wanted to use her, everything she had gotten beaten by Magnus she never did anything.

"Let go, Miss James," Robert said. Cecily darted at Eisley and Robert, and she gulped heavily, letting go of Eisley.

They arrived in a small room. Once the door opened, the room reeked of heavy cigarettes of all kinds. Irwin and some of his men, including Magnus, were there, and Irwin seemed the happiest.

"There she is!" He said as soon as he spotted Eisley.

Eisley step slowed, but Irwin got up and walked faster towards her. As he approached her, he handed his cigarette to Robert. Eisley looked away the moment Irwin opened his mouth to speak. He reeked a heavy cigarette, exactly when did he start smoking? She wondered, his suit had gotten missing, and only his white inner was left, five buttons gone, and his tie hanging loose on his neck.

Irwin looked at Robert, "Toss it away," Robert nodded, and everyone began to put off their cigarette.

"Are you okay?" Eisley asked, "You don't have to tell them to put it away," she whispered. Every man in the room seemed to be glaring at her.

Irwin's eyes could barely open, and he smiled as his hands sneakily wrapped around her waist, pulling her gently to him.

"Tonight, you're mine alone,"

Eisley giggled, "Romance doesn't fit you, Mr Kent," she held him closer, and turned to Robert. "Is there any room I can let him rest for a while?"

"Sure, this way, Miss K— Mercer," Robert said.

Finally, they got to small apartments, Robert helped her place him on the couch. She looked around and tapped Robert.

"Get him some water," She said, holding Irwin's head.

His eyes opened. "Why are you treating me like a baby? I can take care of myself, do you know who I am?" He asked, laughing.

"Yeah, I know, my lifesaver," She replied. Irwin chuckled and leaned closer to her until his forehead rested on hers.

"Don't treat me like a baby, cupcake, it might grow on you," He reclined, stood up and walked on his own.

"Where are you going!" Eisley asked, watching him stagger until he pushed a door open, and she realised there was a bedroom.

"To shower, you can come if you want," he said and shut the door. Eisley sat on the couch, her lips twitched, and she rolled her eyes.

"Why shut the door if you wanted me to come?" She proceeded to take off her shoes.

Robert rushed back with a bottle of water, stunned to see the couch empty, and Eisley lost in thought. The moment she noticed Robert, she got up.

"Oh, he went to shower. Could you help me with the zip?" She asked, turning around for Robert to unzip her dress, but instead, he took steps backwards with his head lowered until he made it out of the room.

The dress was so uncomfortable. Grace wasn't here to help her get rid of it. Plus, if she did get rid of it, what would she put on afterwards? Eisley slumped on the couch, sighing heavily. However, her heart raced because this would be the first night she would be spending the night with Irwin alone.

The apartment door and she jumped up again, happy to see Robert, she smiled. "Did you come back to help me?"

Robert glanced around, nervously. "Um, your room is ready, you can—"

"My room? What do you mean by my room? Aren't I sleeping here?"

"Oh, Mr Kent doesn't know how to share a room with anyone, he booked your room for you, he would get you later,"

"We aren't staying over?"

"Mr Kent has to be somewhere soon," Robert replied. "This way,"

"There's no need for that," Irwin interrupted, "We are leaving,"

"Yes Sir," Robert replied, shutting the door.

"I thought we would stay over," Eisley turned in his direction. Her eyes wandered around, Irwin had no shirt whatsoever, and his trousers were barely on his waist.

"You've seen more than that, put on your shoes,"

"Can we stay the night, huh?"

"Put on your shoes, Eisley. Now," he said coldly. Eisley stood without moving, Irwin sighed, "Do you need me to force them on? Or do you need to be carried out?"

"The other," Her heart twitched at her reply. What was she doing?

"Don't fucking play with me, Sweetheart, put on your shoes, this is the last time I'll ask nicely,"

Eisley's gaze caught the drops of water falling from his hair and trailing across his creamy skin. She couldn't understand how he went from being high to insanely hot. She gazed at him lustfully head to toe, and her cheeks reddened.

"God damnit, Eisley," Irwin groaned. Eisley's feet moved before she could think, her hands wrapped around his neck, and her heart raced. Irwin held her hands away from him, glaring at her. Their eyes locked on each other. "You've got to be kidding me," He said in a hushed tone.

Eisley dimmed her eyes, her two hands were held in the air, she couldn't take Irwin's piercing gaze any longer, as she tried to look away. Irwin's lips crashed forcefully against hers, and he let go of her hands, letting her caress his neck as he kissed her rough and hard.

His hands trailed down to her waist, and then lower until he grabbed her ass, hard enough to cause a whimper sound from Eisley.

His lips covered hers, and he inhaled her heavy breaths, making it difficult for her to take a breath. His left hand left her ass to her neck, choking her slightly. Irwin pinned her against the wall. The heat she felt against his chest spread across her veins, to every touch, she softened.

Irwin's tongue prodded inside her, and her soft moans aroused him even more, he became too enamoured by her taste finding it difficult to stop, each take of her lips was sweet and soft, and her soft moans messed with him. Irwin groaned fighting the thoughts of ripping off her clothes, he had somewhere important to be, it wasn't something that could be missed.

If he wanted to unwrap his little gift, he might as well take his time.

He heard the door open, "Mr Kent—"

Irwin paused, inhaling deeply. Her lipstick had smeared further across her lips, and she gulped, shrinking under his lustful gaze.

"Put on your shoes," he turned around, stunned to see Magnus staring.

"I'm sorry, Sir, Robert asked me to relay a message. The car is ready," He said and shut the door before Irwin could say anything.
