Third person POV
Later in the road going west, Azalea asked Russell where they will be going next. "Let's go to a place called Kapeton," replied Russell while driving. "I read that it was known for its coffee beans." Adrian was intrigued by it, so he responded, "That sounds an interesting place to go, Russell. Let's go there!" The others agreed as well.
"Okay, Kapeton it is!"
And so, all of them head straight to that town, which was located a few kilometers from the border with another kingdom known as Batela.
So, at 1:01 p.m., they had arrived at Kapeton, a large town surrounded by farming fields of coffee beans. Russell was looking forward to checking it out while his party were excited to get off and explore it. And so, Russell parked his bus at an open field surrounded by small townhouses. There he opened the door and turned off the engine, before standing up from his seat and grabbing his knapsack and book. "Alright, let's go," he said to them.
He then got off and opened one of the bus compartments to get some money from one of the clothe sacks just in case they would buy something along the way.
He did so, and his party grabbed their belongings and equipment and got off, with John being carried by Adrian.
All of them then started walking across town to explore its wonders. Along the way, Adrian noticed that Russell had carried a small sack full of money. Assuming that Russell is rich from his bus driving, he asked him, "Hey, Russell-kun, you have a lot of money. Does your occupation earn you that much money?"
"No," replied Russell back in denial, "the majority of my money was from the rewards that I got from Azalea-chan's home village."
"Oh, what did you do for them to gave you that much money?"
Then, Azalea shared the real-life story of the bandits' raid on her home village and how Russell saved it using his bus, including the way how he did that with it.
A few minutes later, Adrian and John were shocked to hear all that, which may sound embellished at first, but all of that are real.
"What?"
"Russell-sama must be brutal."
"Yes, he was." Azalea nodded.
"Yup!" Russell happily added.
At this point, both Adrian and John think that their party leader can be brutal and ruthless when being provoked too much with violence.
The town has a large district dedicated to markets, especially ones for selling coffee beans. The coffee beans themselves tended to be high-quality and popular for buyers from across the country and abroad. The town also had some of the most beautiful small townhouses, which were inhabited by coffee farmers and artisans. Those homes accounted for two-thirds of the total number of residential homes in that large town.
Shortly thereafter, they stopped at a stall that sells tasty pastry. "Welcome to my stand," the seller welcomed them warmly, "here we sell hot and soft pastries that are always fresh." The May party then looked at the soft pastries the man was selling. Some even have sprinkled cheese, and some have cream cheese frosting on top, showing how the town was capable of acquiring and making those seemingly rare resources.
Then, Adrian and Russell want some freshly-baked bread with cream cheese frosting on top, so the two of them asked the seller for 2 of them. "Ah, okay, that'll be 2 gold coins each, please," the seller responded nicely. And so, Russell gets 4 gold coins from his wallet and gave them to the seller, who then gave two of the said pastries to them. "Thank you."
Having received the pastries, Russell and Adrian responded with gratitude, "Thank you so much."
Azalea didn't feel any hunger, so she didn't buy anything.
John, however, didn't want to eat anything either.
After that, the four of them left the stall and continued on strolling and browsing.
"Come again!" the seller bid them farewell.
