Aldric simply smiled as he watched one of the standing men reach towards the table before him, pouring boiling hot water from a small kettle into a ceramic cup with a tea bag, then began dipping the bag repeatedly in the brew.
"From the voice alone, you are most likely sitting before Garis Pattino. He is the active vice leader of Bluris and our target. Be careful around him."
Aldric could only remain silent at Serina's warning. Given how strictly he was being observed, he couldn't risk responding to her. Just as Serina had predicted, there wasn't a single surveillance camera in the office, so she was unable to see anything for herself.
"I must say, you guys have a really absurd recruitment tactic."
Aldric watched the man glance at him as he spoke, taking a small sip from the tea that was handed to him, then dropping it back on the table with a subtle ceramic click.
