"Wake up, you have twenty hours left."
Serina snatched the pillow from underneath Aldric's head and whacked him on the face with it. Aldric stretched his hand over his face to block the soft attacks, his eyes fluttering as he struggled to open them against the reluctance of his exhaustion.
"We have much to do before you go," Serina added, turning away from the couch Aldric slept on.
He sat up, running his hand through his white hair as he let out a sigh. It had been a while since he had a good night's rest, so he immediately fell asleep upon reaching Serina's apartment, unable to go to his own as it was now a crime scene.
He looked around the room, unable to tell whether it was day or night. Serina made sure every single door and window was sealed completely shut, not even a single trace of sunlight capable of penetrating the space.
"What time is it?" Aldric muttered.
