"Could I see your Super ID?", Aron asked, but Liam simply stared at him blankly before he came to his senses and gave him his special ID.
'Isn't it called special ID? or does it have multiple names?', his thoughts raced as he paid close attention to Aron's expressions.
Aron frowned as he shifted his attention from the ID to Liam, "You... this is a special ID isn't it? Haah... that bastard Robert, he gives me surprises like this..."
Liam sat in place with an awkward smile on his face but Aron just shook his head after letting out a light sigh.
"There reason why we needed you is because we want you to teach a kid a lesson. He bullied my son for the past three years and now, when it turned serious, this idiot comes and tells me about everything. If only I knew earlier...."
Liam glanced at the kid who had his head bowed down and his mother who had a worried look on her face.
Smiling, he spoke to the kid, "It's fine, ignore your fathers' words. He cares about you but doesn't know how to express it. It must have been hard right? You probably didn't want to worry your parents..."
*Sniff sniff*
The kid's parents and Liam watched the kid shed tears, which he tried to wipe away.
"How... how did you know..."
Liam said nothing and simply smiled. The memories of him getting bullied was clear in his mind and he could not forget the thoughts, emotions and feelings he had felt back then. Although his concerns back then were different, he could take a guess and relate to the kid in front of him.
"Also, sir Aron... shouldn't you go to the police instead of coming to a private contractor like me? Even I consider myself too much for something like this.", he said as he ignored the kid who was weeping like a baby.
Aron shook his head, "You are indeed too much for this case but honestly speaking, I expected you to be a mid or high rank at best. It doesn't really matter anymore since I'll pay you a good amount but the reason why I came to you instead of the police is because the kid who bullied my son is still seventeen. He won't face harsh punishments."
"So you want me to take care of it... you simply want me to teach him a lesson right?"
"Yep. Here, these are the details and information on that kid. He apparently runs a gang."
Liam silently read the contents on the sheet of paper before letting out a sigh. 'To think that I'd see him again... Dick, the one who bullied me and also the one who is Rick's brother. How should I go about this case...'
"Dick huh... a kid who beat up his seniors and called himself the boss of the entire school on the first day he came to school. I heard of this guy and I'd be lying if I said that he's a kid who can change.", he said with a frown on his face.
"Honestly, his background isn't that great if you simply look at the surface but there is a lot going on behind the scenes. If you want me to do something about this, I should talk to his brother before I take any action."
Aron frowned when he heard his words but he stayed silent while rubbing his temple.
"This is a pain in the butt. Should I just go against him with all I got? I didn't really want to do this but I feel like there is no choice.", he asked as he turned to look at Liam after glancing at his son who sat silently with a pitiful look on his face.
Shaking his head, Liam pointed towards his son, "That's a foolish thing to do. It's better to let the kids settle stuff on their own so the best course of action would be to give your son a serum. This is just a speculation but from what I can tell, Dick is someone who illegally took a serum. Should be a mid grade one if I'm not wrong.
I can teach your kid how to fight since even I plan on attending classes in the near future. He has to get strong mentally and physically so that something like this doesn't happen in the future. Unless he beats Dick on his own, he will be bullied in the future because of his softness."
"NO! I don't want my son to fight a dirty dog like that!"
Liam squinted his eyes as he stared at the woman who was glaring at him, "Miss, that dirty dog fucked your son up and you want him to sit in a corner and cover like a bitch? Oh sure, you can protect him with your husband's backing but what do you think will happen when you grow old and die? Who do you think he will be able to rely on?"
"Enough mister Bryce.", Aron said with a defeated look on his face, "You are right, he needs to develop mentally and face his problems himself. I don't want to see him be a sissy either."
Shifting his attention to his son, he spoke with a gentle tone, "Laron, do you want to do this on your own? You will get help to get strong but you will have to face your bully yourself. If you're too scared, I'll make other do it for you but let me tell you that this will be the last time I will be helping you."
"Honey!"
"I don't care about your thoughts right now, Penelope. You being so protective has made him soft and I only have one child. I don't want to see him go down the wrong path when he's supposed to be my successor. I've let things go your way for too long so let me take care of things this time."
Penelope grit her teeth and stormed out of the room, seething in anger.
"So, Laron was it? Do you want to beat him up yourself or do you want me to do it for you?", Liam asked with a playful smile on his face.
"I... I want to do it myself. Please help me get strong mister Bryce!"
