Cyberpunk As Naturalist Science

As Heavens Divide

In a crumbling realm of a long-dead immortal, in a forsaken corner of the universe, two souls cross paths. Xin is a burnout prodigy, living a solitary life as a hunter, until one day he sees his hometown levelled to the ground by a giant boar. Wu Lei is a street urchin, persevering through a lifetime of pain and abuse, forced into a criminal syndicate at a very young age. So different, yet so similar, they quickly form a bond, which will be tested over the decades to come. This is a dark, slow-burning tale of resilience and transformation. In a world where grand narratives are forged, not given, and shortcuts are carved, not found, Xin and Lei embark on a relentless journey of martial arts, cultivation and friendship, with its beautiful ups and painful downs. What to expect: 1. There are no cheat codes. The mcs are both talented individuals, yet they aren't the chosen ones. They don't belong to any prophecy or grand plot, and have to claw their way into relevance. 2. It's a psychological work at its core, and a coming of age story at that. The mcs evolve drastically, but naturally, and they will at times frustrate the audience. This is by design. 3. The cultivation system is very detailed and thought out, everything is explained gradually as to not overwhelm the reader. Please have patience, every single type of cultivation will be studied in-depth and explained. The plot is also not what it seems at first, and evolves much further than it seems at first. 4. This book is very edgy at times. I don't do things just to shock people, and I believe that every edgy piece of content I write has a reason behind it, but you have been warned. 5. I am an ESL author. This means that I'll mess up an article or two, and some of my phrasings will be a bit unusual. I am constantly reading English literature and working on improving my writing, and I certainly get better as the chapters go on, but keep this in mind. I'm also not a professional writer, so I can't afford to edit too much. 6. The narration style switching between first and third form is intentional, same for not using italics. It's not a quirk or a whim, but an experimental choice that will become very relevant in future chapters. https://discord.gg/Nvj7yPJr4q - my discord. New chapters, a backlog of 130 plus less edited chapters, shitposting. I have 131 chapters written currently, and will post them gradually.

As Silent As A Mouse

I am being hunted. Well, not me exactly. Someone wants to get their hands on the genius behind A.M.K Pharmaceuticals. They just don't know it's me. I have discovered a way to negate anyone's scent, shifter or human. You would think it wouldn't be that big of a deal... deodorants promise the same thing, but my product is nothing like that. My product turns its wearers invisible to shifters. No, not like that. But shifters need scent more than almost anything else to identify and find a person. Without scent, they can't track down their prey, or smell an enemy coming up from behind. I had originally created it so my adopted father and I could avoid the shifter community. No one was supposed to know about it. Until a little birdy said something they shouldn't have to the wrong person. Now the humans are after me and the shifters want me dead. But that's fine. That wasn't the only thing I came up with. And if I am as silent as a mouse, no one will see me coming until it is too late. This will be a RH novel, the FMC will not have to choose. Reborn As A Warlock, Misunderstood As Strongest

An author, frustrated by readers not understanding his novel, makes a bet with one of them. "Just create and write a new novel," the reader challenges. "I wrote it, but what will you do if it fails?" the author asks. "If you do that and still fail, I will send you $500 per month for a year. Certification available. Ok? What will you do if everything goes well?" the reader replies. "Haha, I would at least be possessed by that lump of waste character in my novel," the author jokes, not knowing these words would be the worst he'd ever utter. "Okay, I'll do whatever you want for once," he agrees, casting aside his pride. He writes non-stop for a week, completing 20 episodes of what he considers type waste. Without hesitation, he starts serializing it. To his surprise, his novel enters the top 100 in the new work rankings. *Ding!* [Comment notification.] He has an uneasy feeling but, as a writer, cannot ignore comments. He clicks to read. "Now don't forget your promise," the reader reminds him. At that moment, with light coming from the monitor, he loses consciousness. *** When he opens his eyes, the author finds himself transmigrated into the body of a character he wrote—Abel Croy, a member of the hero warriors party. Everyone in the party calls him a monster, insect, slug, and many other names. Abel knows that if he stays with the hero party, he will eventually die at the hands of the protagonist. So, he decides to leave. Abel Croy is weak—very weak. He thinks it will be difficult to survive with this weak and arrogant body, but for some reason, everyone misunderstands him. They believe he is strong and fear him. 'Why are you looking at me with fear? Aren't you supposed to be the main villain of my novel?' he thinks. Realizing the advantage of this misunderstanding, Abel decides to use it for his own good. _______ Disclaimer:- What can you expect from MC? Hardworking Protagonist: Yes, Interesting Side Cast: Yes, World Building: Yes, Overpowered Protagonist: Yes, Transmigration: Yes. A/N 1. There's harem!!! 2. The MC cares only about himself and his family. He doesn't mind crossing the line if it means he can keep himself safe. 3. He has an extremely vengeful personality. Regardless of the reason or what you're going through, he doesn't care. What matters is that you hurt him, and that's all he needs. 4. Lastly, if you have any semblance of liking for this novel, give me your everything, hahaha. Just kidding, please give me power stones and drop reviews. Thank you!
