In an instant, Sukuna's domain enshrouded them, exposing them to it's sure-hit effect.
Befitting its name, Malevolent Shrine constructs a disfeatured Buddhist shrine that has been distorted to instead enshrine demons.
But, unlike a normal domain, the barrier was missing.
'A...barrierless domain? How is this possible?'
This was a divine feat. Something Jin never thought could be achieved with Jujutsu.
It was as if Sukuna was painting on the air itself.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
An infinite amount of slashes rained down in a 140m radius around both Jin and the creature, encompassing them within it, pushing them back not from the sharpness of the cuts, but the physical force they dished out on impact.
'That cursed spirit has the ability to adapt to any phenomena, similar to Yamato-No-Orochi! But Jin Itadori...I can feel that you're different. Hehehe! Jin Itadori! Megumi Fushiguro! You two have my complete attention!'
His eyes locked on to the two as he watched them walk through his slashes.
The creature healed so fast that it couldn't kill him.
Jin just stood there, unmoving, unwavering, the physical force applied by the slashes no longer possessing enough force to push him back.
His gaze locked onto Sukuna, the sorcerer racked his mind, wondering how he'll be able to take down the King Of Curses within.
'My domain will be destroyed the moment I use it. So the only options I have are my lightning, strong force manipulation and...weak force manipulation. That's...a lot of options actually...I wonder...'
Suddenly, he saw Sukuna molding a stream of flames, his eyes locked onto both him and the creature as he did so.
Jin remembered this technique. It was the same fire arrow Sukuna used on Jogo.
Seeing this, Jin gained a stroke of inspiration.
Using his control over nuclear energy, Jin clasped his hands and revealed a stream of nuclear flame, following suit after Sukuna as he molded it into an arrow.
But he wasn't done. To make sure the creature couldn't come back, Jin formed a clone out of a strand of hair, commanding it to use the nuclear flame arrow.
Sukuna had two arrows.
One aimed at Jin. One aimed at the creature.
Jin had two arrows.
One aimed at Sukuna. One aimed at the creature.
"May the best sorcerer win, Sukuna."
WHOOSH! BOOM! BOOM!
Massive explosions went off in Shibuya as the arrows all hit their targets dead-on. The surrounding destruction was so great that the entirety of Shibuya felt the heatwave, even causing random fires to erupt and cars to combust around the city.
The part of the city where Sukuna opened his Domain Expansion was turned into lifeless wasteland of nothingness. Nothing dead or alive could survive that onslaught.
Along with the destruction caused by the arrows, Shibuya was turned into a state where it might never recover for decades to come.
Suddenly, Sukuna appeared, his body covered in flames, stumbling towards Megumi, who was laying in a relatively safe place that the flames had yet to reach.
'Jin Itadori...what a monster. If only you were more like your father, boy.'
Pushing his RCT to the limits, Sukuna managed to heal faster than the flames could burn him. Eventually, the flames themselves just wore off.
The sorcerer quickly threw Megumi over his shoulders and disappeared, getting away from the scene completely.
In another part of this area, Jin could be seen struggling to stand up as flames engulfed his entire body. Using the strong force, Jin manipulated the matter in his own body to drastically lower his body temperature, causing the flames to be put out by the piercing cold.
Cracking his neck as he regenerated, Jin glanced to the side, immediately noticing another body burning to ash within the flames. It wasn't the body of the creature.
It was the body of a human.
'That must've been that Shigemo guy. Hm. Should've escaped when he had the chance.'
WHOOSH!
Immediately turning into an eagle, Jin flew to the highest building he could and reverted back into human form, falling to his knees as he did so.
"All of that fighting finally took a toll on me huh..."
From fighting the Kyoto High Sorcerers, to fighting Satoru Gojo, to fighting the King Of Curses and a seemingly immortal creature.
The fact that it took this long to tire him out was a miracle in and off itself.
His cursed energy was astronomically low from multiple powerful techniques back to back. Even the Six Eyes could only help his consumption for so long.
"Sigh."
Jin just sat down and closed his eyes, ignoring the sounds of helicopters flying overhead.
"I can take some time to recover...then I'll go find see who I can find. It's about to time to bring this night to a close. My goal has already been achieved."
Seemingly falling asleep on the rooftop, Jin rested for about an hour as the chaos continued below, only waking up when he felt something try to eat his leg.
'Oh...a cursed spirit.'
Jin stomped the spirit into a pool of blood and stretched a little bit as his eyes flickered around Shibuya, trying to find any traces of curse users or sorcerers. He had recovered only about half of his cursed energy in this time...but it would be good enough for the battles ahead.
To his surprise, he felt a familiar cursed energy signature...actually three familiar cursed energy signatures.
Mahito.
Nanami.
And his beloved son, Yuji.
"Heh...this is gonna be fun. Besides, if Kenjaku wants to do what I'm thinking, then sticking with these three is going to eventually lead me to him."
WHOOSH!
Jin immediately transformed into his signature form and flew into Shibuya Station, eager to meet the trio. Especially Nanami.
He had something important that Jin desired for a long time. It was finally the perfect opportunity to claim it.
