The Loplin remained expressionless as he slowly moved his head from her forehead and down to her neck, making the poor girl shiver.
"Matt… Are you feeling OK? Why is your body heating up badly?" questioned the Dragoon as she tried her best to remain calm-headed in the situation.
Matt said nothing and began to nuzzle his nose into the Dragoon, who was squirming underneath him.
"Honestly, what's gotten into you?!" yelled Layla as she quickly balled her hands into fists and punched the Loplin's abdomen.
The rabbit instantly hunched and winced in pain as the Dragoon shifted her weight and tossed him out of the bed.
"You're just like those drunk men I deal with every day… Get away from me for tonight," growled Layla as her wings blossomed out her back.
The poor rabbit was on the floor and confused about what had just transpired before him. He then stood up and tried to stop Layla but the Dragoon rushed out and exited the area.
Meanwhile, the Felidae had forgotten something and needed to go back to the kitchen. As he approached the kitchen counter, Teemo realized that he had forgotten to put back the tea. Upon closer inspection, the cat widened his eyes with realization.
"I must've swapped the tea boxes by accident… No wonder I feel like going to the bar to get some ladies," said the Felidae as he stashed away the box.
Teemo opened the door, only to crash onto a flying Dragoon.
"Why are you in a hurry? I know you don't sleep but…"
"I'm feeling uncomfortable with Matt and I wanted to be away from him…" murmured the girl as she kept her wings.
Ah, this isn't good…
The Felidae sighed as he gently helped the girl up and brushed away the first.
"How about you stay in the kitchen?" suggested the cat.
"Sure… Thanks…" said Layla as she walked into the kitchen.
"Just don't eat everything in there, I need to make breakfast tomorrow. Good night, Layla," said Teemo as he locked the door.
The next morning came and Layla was still in the same position she was in from last night; sitting cross-legged on the floor with a cushion. The first to show up was a very tired Loplin.
"Good morn-"
Before the rabbit could finish, a pillow soared through the air and slammed right into his face.
"What was that for?! You punched me and tossed me off the bed last night! And I don't have a single clue why! Now you're throwing pillows at me?!" shouted the Loplin as he threw the pillow back to the Dragoon and approached her.
Layla instantly caught the pillow and started slapping the poor bunny with the pillow. It seemed like the girl wasn't going to stop until the Loplin's pulse did.
Luckily, with all that racket and screams, Teemo was awoken and rushed towards the kitchen to stop the Dragoon from turning the rabbit into past tense.
"Ow, ow! What did that pillow ever do to you?! What did I do?!" yelled Matt as he tried to stop the angry girl.
"You… You… You're a per-"
"Wait, wait, wait! It's not his fault! It's mine!" shouted Teemo as he came between the duo.
Right as if on cue, Layla slapped the cat square in the face with every ounce of strength, causing the pillow to explode with all its feathers flying everywhere. Everyone was still and silent until Teemo spat out the feathers from his mouth.
Poor Layla couldn't contain her laughter when the Felidae did that, especially with a deadpan expression plastered on his face. Mattheos was trying his very best not to laugh but he was failing miserably.
"At least I got her to stop hitting you and she's in a better mood now," said the Felidae, shaking the rest of the feathers off his armor.
"What do you mean that it wasn't his fault?" asked Layla as she finally calmed down.
"I might've, accidentally… Uhm, I made tea with the aphrodisiac that I had been developing… I am really sorry about it," apologized Teemo as he looked away from the duo.
"Excuse me?! What the absolute f-" scolded the Loplin as he wanted to fire some shots at the Felidae.
"Ok! Apology accepted! Let's go make breakfast together," said Layla as she slapped her hands onto Matt's mouth and wrist to make him put down the gun.
After cleaning up the mess and gathering the ingredients for breakfast, Matt was busy reading the list and method of harvesting the needed items for Teemo while the rest were preparing breakfast.
The Dragoon was busy doing the eggs, bacon, and some leftover steak while Teemo cooked some wild mushrooms and roasted potatoes. Layla was done earlier and went to place the food on the dining table.
