The girl then grabs Arthur's hand
"You know…you were a pretty cool back there…and since you saved my life…"
She then looked up at Arthur with lust filled eyes
"I'm guessing you're looking for a sort of payment…"
She getting touchy.
Arthur became angered by what she was doing.
Just who the hell does she think she is
Arthur yanked his hand from her before giving her a look of disgust
"I didn't do it for you. I did it for Ana. And don't you ever touch me again."
What's this? He's not gonna take advantage?! That's new.
The girl then backed off
"Sorry. I was just testing you. Had to make sure you actually saved me for a good cause, and not to get in my pants."
"Whatever."
Suddenly a voice called out to Arthur. He turned around to see Ana running toward him. She was being chased by a group of men?
"What the hell?"
"ARTHUUURR!"
Arthur ran to Ana and got in front her ready to protect her. The group of men then stopped.
"May I ask why you're chasing my girl?"
His girl?! He's never called me that before. Usually he's calls me love which I don't mind either, but his girl? I kinda like it.
"THAT BI-"
Arthur quickly closed the distance between him and the man. He now stood only inches from him as he starred him down with a death look.
"I would advise you to choose your next words carefully."
The man frightened by how fast Arthur got to him, nodded, signifying that he understood the warning.
"Good."
Arthur backed up from the man
"Now please tell me what she did."
"W-We were playing a game of cards with some people, when she decided to come over, look at the guys hand, then come over to me tell me his hand. She then proceeded to run off. He had a winning hand too, so you can probably guess how mad he was. In the end he accused me of cheating and told me that if I don't pay him back double what we were betting on, he would call his boss to handle me, and trust me, I'm a dead man if that happens. That's why I called my men to spread out and find her. Someone eventually found her and alerted us, she ran, so we chased. We weren't gonna hurt her, I just need that money."
Really Ana…
*Sigh*
I'll have to teach her to know who and who not to mess with. For now, I guess I'll help this guy out. I do feel kinda bad.
"Fine, I'll talk to this boss person or whatever…but only if you live her alone."
"Listen kid, I don't care how fast you are, you won't be able to beat their boss. That man is an ascendant ranker. Some even go as far as to saying that he's on par with one of the seven hero rankers."

Arthur turned around and was about to begin walking.
"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME! WERE TALKING ABOUT THE 7 HEROES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!"
"And you're not listening to me. If I said I'll handle it..."
Now annoyed and angered, Arthur cast a piercing glare over his shoulder. His look was so intense that produced an aura that instilled fear into the men.
"Then that means I'll handle it."
Arthur then looked at the girl he saved earlier. She was also startled by his intensely serious expression.
"Let's go Ana. And stop wondering off please."
"Fiiinnnee…"
Arthur and Ana then took their leave. Just as they were walking away, the girl spoke out.
"Wait!"
Arthur and Ana stopped and turned around to see why they had been suddenly told to wait.
"What."
"Well…if yall don't mind…I would love to join you two."
"Absolutely not."
"ARTHUR! That's so rude!"
Ana walked up to the girl.
"We'd love for you to join us."
"No we wouldn't. She'll just slow us down."
"Oh come on. Can she please accompany us."
Ana looked up at Arthur with puppy dog eyes. The longer he sat there and looked at Ana's cuteness, the harder it became to resist saying yes. After giving it a long thought…
*Tsk* "Whatever."

"Let's go. We've wasted enough time. I wanna see this so called hero class ranker for myself."
The 3 then walked off
Meanwhile
In the throne room of the castle located in Tetrine, sat the king of the nation. He was discussing diplomatic matters with some higher nobles when suddenly, a messenger ran in, interrupting their meeting.
"My king there is urgent news!"
"Hey! You can't just barge in here! This is an important confidential meeting!"
The messenger then kneeled before the king and nobles.
"I apologize for my intrusion sir Duke Asher, but there is news that the king must be alerted of immediately."
"It can wait till aft!-"
The king then suddenly cuts the Duke off mid sentence
"It is fine. Please…speak out…tell me what this urgent news is."
"Thank you your majesty. It's about one of the 7 great heroes, Fire Maiden Elaina…she was killed in battle your majesty."
"Come again?!"
"That's absurd!"
Concerned voices filled the room
"Not only that, but it seems this person has stolen the holy weapon that she was contracted to, the orb of calamity, letuminous"
"You don't mean…that holy weapon…"
"Yes your majesty. The situation is extremely dire."
All the nobles including the king were in complete and utter disbelief.
"This is…insane…"
The king thinks for a second before coming up with a plan.
"Assemble the members of the secret squadron at once, do not alert the general public about this, for it would cause mass panic."
Plus, if word spread that the nation of Yorm lost not only their hero, but also their holy weapon as well , every nation would quickly run to conquer us. It would be a blood bath. Luckily, the secret squadron are the cities most elite force. They have yet to lose.
Suddenly another messenger ran in
"Your majesty!"
"What it is now."
"I've just got word…every member of the secret squadron has been killed!"
The king quickly stood up out of his throne.
