I held the side of my apron in a tight grip as I took heavy steps towards the Alpha's desk. Did he hate me that much?
"Hurry and taste it". He ordered and I brought my shaky hands towards the tray of food. I picked up the spoon next to the bowl of kwayan soup which was simply a combination of veggies and medicinal herbs.
I scooped a little kwayan soup and took it towards my lips as my hands were shaking uncontrollably. Immediately the soup touched my tongue, and the spoon fell from my hand onto the tray with a disturbing noise.
Eek…the soup tasted bitter and I felt the urge to throw up. I controlled myself and instead, I hurriedly moved backwards and fell to my knees as the atmosphere in the office grew tense. The scary Alpha got up from his seat and strolled towards me.
"What did you just do?".
"I…I deeply apologize Al-Alpha Lo-Logan".
