I stared at Beta Duncan as he frowned deeply at the note sent by The Enigmatic Anonymist.
"What do you think?". I asked peering closely at him.
I heard him sigh before he turned to me.
"Alpha, The Anonymist is getting too much inside information".
"Exactly". I nodded.
He subtly placed the note on my desk and paced.
"You do know what I am thinking don't you?". I inquired.
"I believe so, Alpha. The pack, the members, everything needs to be inspected. The Anonymist shouldn't be too far away".
"Then start an impromptu inspection tomorrow at dawn. First, we will have to inspect the guards ourselves before we have them reinstated so they can be on the lookout for anything or any suspicious wolf in the pack".
Beta Duncan nodded once and walked out of the office. I clasped my hands in front of me. I had to get to the bottom of this. I had even tried every possible way to find the Anonymist.
