Something must have happened for my wolf to finally show himself. But I just couldn't pinpoint what it was. For centuries, I was without my wolf because he was locked in.
"I feel suffocated in here. How about a breath of fresh air?". I heard Scott ask within me. I felt like it was more of a suggestion than an inquiry.
Scott had a point. Now that I could feel my wolf, I had to shift into him.
A knock came at the door and it opened, revealing Astrid with the basket of books.
She stumbled in trying to hold the basket well. She managed to close the door and walked further into the office.
"Uhh…the pretty Astrid". My wolf, Scott cooed. I could feel him wiggling his tail.
"Shut up". I hissed and I heard him let out a condescending chuckle.
"I got the books Alpha". Astrid uttered in a low voice.
She wasn't stuttering anymore but I barely even heard her words.
