The men glared at each other, suspecting something.
"Maybe he has a hand in the attack at the palace," they gestured to each other in their language which Gary didn't understand.
"His brother is the King's escort and has gone missing in the raid. He was the last to talk with the king before he arrived at the palace," Mike confirmed.
"Maybe they are in this plan together?"
"No, Adrian is his elder brother and his own worst enemy. He feels he was supposed to be the Alpha instead."
"Ohh-hhh!"
"What are you two contemplating about?" Alpha Gary lashed out at them standing up from the couch where he was sitting to receive treatment, his radiant eyes scorching on them.
"You think we will fear you?" They growled back at him.
"Go back to whoever sent you and tell him I'm not coming with you guys."
"We shall see!" They sneered at him.
Walking straight to the doctor, they jerked their heads to the side asking the doctor to leave. The doctor shook, he was in a tense situation but he could only show his allegiance to the Alpha who hired him.
"If you leave, I execute you." Alpha Gary was quite serious about this. "I'm tired of outsiders coming to boss me in my own home, in my Pack."
"Then if you don't want that, you willingly heed to the rule and that's coming with us." Mike's voice was mild yet strict.
"Over my dead body!"
"Let it be to you as you say," Mike said this, pulling the trigger both on Gary and then on the doctor.
"I'll make sure you have no one to treat you again," he said to him, giving another shot to the doctor straight on his head.
"You're innocent but I have to do this." Mike knelt before the lifeless body of the pack doctor who was assigned to treat the Alpha and his Luna only. He was so experienced, a genius, the only one in the Delta Pack and was supposed to handle the general welfare of the high ranking officials of the pack, not just the Alpha. Gary however took him all to himself and asked anyone who required any medical attention to visit the clinics at the pack. No one could disagree with him, he had a sole authority that even the Beta couldn't contradict.
The bullet used to shoot him wasn't just any kind of bullet but a special one, quite different from that used on the doctor. These officers knew how strong he was, they knew that to capture him, they had to weaken him. That's just what they did.
Lina was a she-wolf not quite strong enough, she wasn't a warrior and had never trained to become a strong Luna, they could easily capture her. Dragging Gary along the stone floor, they took him downstairs to where Casmien was still waiting for him.
"See the monster here." They reported to the king who gave a sinister grin as he saw his greatest rival being dragged along and thrown at his foot. He looked down on him, with a mocking gaze.
"You claim to be strong, why are you this feeble and pitiable?"
Gary lowered his gaze in disgust.
"And you, pretty, ugly bitch." He shook Lina's head, grabbing her hair.
"I'm a woman and it's wrong for you to grab my hair," she pleaded for help thinking this would move Casmien.
"Yeahh," Casmien grinned. "I know all those rules and I follow them but not when I'm dealing with animals."
"From your actions, you've clearly shown you're nothing more than an animal with no sense."
Lina gasped.
"Get them out of my sight!" He ordered and immediately the officers dragged them inside of the hilux which was behind his car.
"And make sure you clear off their stinking blood from my car."
"Yes sir!" They bowed.
Casmien turned around and walked into the black Benz, gesturing to his men to do the same. He was grinning seeing Gary so weak, the once muscular, strong guy who was feared. Kate was smiling, she was satisfied with this sight.
"What's going to happen?" She turned to her mate, eager to know what's next.
Casmien smile without showing his teeth. He turned back, starting the car.
"We will get to know," he said nothing else.
While driving on the road, his thoughts were centered on the men who came into his palace pretending as servants, fully armed.
"There must be someone behind this. They are sponsored." He continued contemplating until he drove towards the gate of the palace, the security at the gate pulled the gate open, saluting him.
When he stopped the car at the garage, he opened the door and walked over to the other side of the car. Carrying Kate into his arms, he ordered one of his men to shut the car and bring the key along.
"Yes sir!" The security bowed.
Kate was amazed at how everyone listened to him and did whatever he said. Her eyes scanned from one side of the palace to the other. It seemed to her that the palace was more beautiful at night than in the day. The water fountain at the center was pouring forth blue water in a unique style. This caught her attention more than anything else.
"It flows only at night," Casmien told her, seeing she was fascinated by the water fountain.
"Woww!"
"It looks so beautiful."
"Yeahh!" Casmien commented. "Come on, let me lay you to sleep in my bedroom. I'll see you in the morning, I have to attend to something urgently."
