Kate held on tightly to her mate, Casmien as the doctor said this. Her eyes clicked with him. "What's really happening?"
"Don't worry, I'm here with you." Casmien assured her but deep down he wasn't feeling alright. His mind wondered whether she still being with Alpha Gary in marriage, as they were yet to divorce, could affect her pregnancy. He sat up gesturing to the doctor to tell them what was going on.
"Your wife might likely have some complications in her pregnancy because there's still a bond connecting her with her husband and until he rejects her willingly, we can't tell what will happen."
"What?" Casmien took his hand to his head, trailing his fingers through his hair in frustration.
