"Well, it seems it's an apocalypse" he said only to be interupted by a banging sound on the door
Bang bang bang !!!!
He became Abit agitated hearing the noise as he didn't feel that he could do anything to stop them at the moment considering the force he felt
Rummaging through his things, he pulled a long case under his bed and open it where he found a long blue sword.
"Good thing I have you with me"
Long Sword : Though we'll crafted, it's power can only pierce through creatures below Tier 1 ].
(Upgrade :Source Energy)
The banging continued uninterrupted and the grunts coming from the other side of the door made it obvious that at least one zombie was trying to break through and, seeing how hard the door was being hit and how the hinges seemed about to give way at any moment, he knew he didn't have too much time to stand around without doing anything.
Holding it, he advanced step by step till wooden door finally could not withstand the constant assault and burst open with a small explosion.
Immediately after the door was kicked down, four zombies staggered in while roaring in hoarse tone
Their blood-stained faces looked grotesque and could several bite marks could be seen where the flesh had horribly sloughed off.
Zephyr seeing the rather slow movement of the zombies charged forward at full speed as he thrusted his sword directly into the brain of the first zombie killing it swiftly, with a turn, he slashed at the other two zombies near him decapitating them easily while he kicked the last one on its chin sending its head flying
The scroll was about the size of a tennis ball and blue in color.
Just by grasping it, he immediately knew how to use the orb naturally as if it had been something he had known all his life.
Squeezing his palm tightly, the orb flashed slightly, and when the brightness dimmed, notifications appeared on the system interface

As he opened his eyes again, blue letters flickered on his retina as the last zombie dropped down
Zephyr looked at the broken-down door anticipating another zombies entrance but nothing came so he gave up and prepared to relocate
Supplies first, Food, medications, some clothes, with a backpack to carry it all, Zephyr listed it in his mind as hee quickly grabbed a mountain backpack and stowed the necessities while putting the sword he used earlier in a sheath
Anything else? He scratched his chin, going over the short list of items again. Not really, although a map for the future could be useful.
Some of those items could be easily found in his home, but others? Not so much. Weapons? He didn't have any, apart from kitchen knives and besides he didn't need one when he had a real sword with him. Besides the now without a physical map. Who needed those when the internet was a thing…
Any type of food that could last longer than a few days. Clothes that offered ease of movement and a bit of protection which they didn't according to the System's Identify. And any sort of miscellaneous items that just might provide higher chances of survival.

Looking at his status, Zephyr had a satisfied expression as he decided on not using the remaining points Incase a situation arises
Looking outside, took his first glimpse of the new reality through the now wide window
The red sun still hung in the sky, though now it neared closer to the horizon with every second. The rest of the world also changed more than he initially noticed.
Even then, any peace provided by the lack of zombies was crushed by the screams and howls that echoed through the air every now and then
They were faint and distant, barely carried that far by the almost unnoticeable breeze.
He lived on the fourth floor and considering the present situation, he needed to evacuate urgently
Walking calmly, Zephyr entered a familiar hallway that connected the stairs of the house
With each room passed, only the stairway remained, looming over him as the scent of blood assaulted his nostrils once again, now stronger than ever. He frowned and set his feet on the first step.
The wall broke and Zephyr stilled, breath catching in his throat
For a moment the world stopped, waiting for a signal to move. A signal that arrived swiftly, in the form of a blood-chilling screech that filled the entire building
Shadows approached him from Infront direction and the stench of blood and death instantly filled his nostrils.
He frowned, not good, the grip on his sword tightened.
Considering the narrow path, he was forced to charge directly towards them and that gave him some advantage....if it were normal zombies that is
Taking in a deep breath, he returned back into the living room where he thought he might have a fighting chance, considering the type of creatures he would soon face were not ordinary and might have some intellect
He leaned against a wall just next to the entrance, his breath calm as he concentrated lightning on the edges of his sword, something easy due to his days of gameplay
Another screech reached his ears, this one louder and accompanied by groans as hurried footsteps drew closer till it neared his door
His eyes flashed, as Zephyr stabbed his sword in a forceful manner forcing metal to meet rotten flesh.
There was almost no resistance, as the sword plunged in to the creature evoking a loud screech filled with pain as the creature flailed it's claw in an attempt to kill it's prey
