When Kai arrived at Zac and Amy's apartment to make sure the situation didn't get out of hand, he was shocked to see men lying on the floor and an idiot pointing a fucking gun at Zac's head.
He didn't think much about it and prevented the worst by killing the bastard who was part of his own group but who had decided to go much further than they were allowed to.
After quickly drawing his revolver, Kai saw the lifeless body of the intruder fall on top of Zac.
"Fuck!" He said as he lowered his weapon and finally thought about this mess.
'What the hell happened here?' Kai's face turned red as he walked in.
He noticed that of the four men who were there to teach Zac a lesson, two were unconscious, one was the one with a bullet in his head, and the last one was the only one conscious.
The man Zac had kicked in the groin was awake but quite disoriented.
Zac's kick hadn't just made him feel the usual pain of a kick to a man's sensitive parts. It had made him feel like his balls had exploded!
In the last moments before Kai's arrival, this man didn't understand anything that had happened and hadn't even seen Kai coming and killing the third of his companions in this action.
When Kai approached him and took off his cloth mask, he saw this man crying with an expression of unparalleled agony on his face.
"What the hell happened here?" Kai slapped the man's face, having already noticed that Zac was unconscious.
The man didn't answer Kai. He just continued to scream in pain as he convulsed.
Kai let him go when he realized he wouldn't get anything out of this guy.
'The neighbors will probably call the police. I'd better do it first.' He took out his smartphone and dialed the number of a policeman friend.
While he waited for that contact to answer, he put a hand on Zac's neck. 'He's alive. He probably just fainted.'
"Kai? What's wrong? Did something happen?" A voice came from the phone speaker of the red-haired man who was pulling Zac out from under the dead thug's body.
"Kyle, I have a problem, and I need your help," Kai said as he sighed. "I may have three dead bodies here with me. I'm in Amy's apartment. The neighbors must have heard a gunshot and are probably already calling the police."
"Shit, man! What the fuck happened?"
"It's complicated. I'll explain it to you later... But anyway, can you sort it out for me?"
The voice was silent for a second, and then a siren sounded before Kyle spoke again. "Sure, I'm on my way. I'll go with David and Nico. Everything will be fine. We'll clean it up for you."
"Sigh! I thank you... Don't worry. I'll talk to the boss about you later."
"Hehe, then thank you... But seriously, are there any innocent civilians involved?" Kyle asked after he liked what he had heard.
As corrupt policemen, he and his colleagues couldn't help but be happy about the opportunity to please the leader of The Vipers!
It meant new bonuses for them!
"There are no ordinary civilians involved. Amy's brother barely escaped." Kai replied, aware that it would be much more complicated to resolve the situation discreetly if civilians were among the victims of this incident.
But since only members of The Vipers had fallen, no one would seek justice for them except The Vipers themselves.
"Perfect. It'll be easier this way... I'm going to hang up and take the case to the headquarters. See you soon."
"Bye." Hanging up his phone, Kai placed Zac's unconscious body on the sofa before checking the condition of the two unconscious bodies that were already on the floor before he got there.
'Shit... Zac killed the son of a bitch?' Kai couldn't feel the pulse of the man who had been hit on the head with a pan.
But he couldn't believe that Zac had done it himself!
Kai wasn't a doctor, so he couldn't find any justification for such a death.
Then he felt the heart of the man who had almost shot Zac but who had been electrocuted by his own gun the moment he had squeezed the trigger.
'How strange...' Kai thought as he picked up the man's gun and noticed that a part of it had melted before firing. 'How did that happen?
Sigh, I'll wait until he recovers before I find out.' He looked at the unconscious man, who had a faint pulse but was still alive.
After five minutes of tidying up the area and making sure no one was approximated his position, Kai received a message from Kyle, and soon after, three policemen arrived.
"Shit, Kai. What kind of trouble are you getting us into?" One of the three middle-aged men in local police uniforms asked as they passed the broken door.
Kai looked at the men and greeted each of them. "Don't even ask me. This didn't start because of me. I just ended the problem... Anyway, two of them are alive, and the others are dead."
"It would be easier if they were all dead..." Nico said as he looked at Kai suggestively.
"I know. It would be easier that way, but I want to understand what happened here. The boss will probably interrogate these two...
Sigh! We'll have to handle the situation without any more deaths." Kai made this point clear, knowing that these corrupt cops would try to kill the two survivors so that there would be no witnesses to the problem.
"That will be more expensive then," Kyle commented. "We'll be putting our names in danger following your plan."
"You won't regret it."
Kyle then looked at Nico and David, who all nodded in agreement.
Soon after, David and Nico reached into their bags for the large black bags that the police used to store bodies.
Kyle explained to Kai what was about to happen. "We're going to take these two bodies and get rid of them for you. As for these two, you'll take care of that."
"Hmm, two of my men are already on their way here. We'll sort them out and take them to the doctor."
"What about this young man?" Nico pointed at Zac.
"That's Amy's brother... Don't worry about him. Amy won't complain, and she'll convince him to forget this problem."
"Oh? Is that Amy's brother? The brother of that Amy?" David smiled as he looked at Kai.
Kai didn't care why David was smiling and just confirmed it. "Yes, he's her brother."
"All right then." Kyle relaxed, knowing that the chances of Amy making things difficult for them were very slim.
She was much more involved with The Vipers than any of them and would be hurt very badly if she said the wrong thing!
Kyle said. "You two can take the bodies of those idiots up front. I'll clean this place up and send the report to the police."
"All right."
So the matter was settled before all the policemen left, and only Kai and Zac remained there.
Two of Kai's men would take away the two men who were still alive in the next five minutes before Amy returned to this place after Kai's authorization.
