Stephanie said, "It's me, baby, just calm down."
"I wasn't expecting you," Drake said, sounding calm.
"Should I obtain permission before visiting my future husband?" she responded, lightly tapping his back.
"Something happened? You seem unhappy. I came by your workplace and was informed that you didn't attend today. It's unusual for you to take a day off, so it caught me off guard," she noted.
Looking into her eyes, he stated that he was simply exhausted.
"I can only imagine how stressful planning a wedding must be. It's starting to affect me too - I haven't been able to go to work at all this week," she shared.
He chuckled and said, "It's not wedding stress on your part, it's simply laziness."
"Why should I work for God's sake when my father runs a company?" "Why do they keep pressuring me all the time?" "Darling, you don't seem to be doing well. What is bothering you?"
Attempting to force a smile, he hastily added "It's insignificant."
"I need to find a way to inform her that her fiancé was unfaithful and that it will shatter her heart. The revelation may jeopardize the wedding arrangements, but I must make sure everything goes smoothly as all my relatives from different parts of the globe have been invited. I must handle this situation appropriately."
"Hey, sweetie. Just came to see how you're doing. Take care now." She gave him a quick kiss and departed.
After she gave him a peck, she closed the door and he began crying uncontrollably.
"I have to take action on this," he exclaimed loudly.
"I must talk to her father," he pondered. "What caused this sudden shift in my thoughts?" He queried himself. "I have to resolve this issue before it escalates."
After grabbing his keys, he departed for the hospital.
