As they sat down for tea, Wilhelm began to tell his mother, Inger, a funny story about his friend Sebastian's experience at the Thai restaurant they went to for lunch.
"So, Sebastian ordered this dessert called Bua Loi, which is basically rice flour balls in coconut milk," Wilhelm said, chuckling.
Inger raised an eyebrow. "And what happened?"
"Well, Sebastian didn't know how to eat it. He was trying to use a fork to scoop the rice balls into his mouth," Wilhelm explained, shaking his head in amusement.
Inger laughed. "Oh dear, that must have been quite a sight."
Wilhelm nodded. "It was. So I told him that he should use a soup spoon to scoop out the rice flour and coconut milk to eat."
Inger smiled. "That was very kind of you. Did he figure it out?"
Wilhelm grinned. "Yeah, he did. And then he made a joke about how he's never eaten Thai desserts with coconut milk before, so he didn't know how to eat them."
Inger chuckled. "Well, at least he has a sense of humor about it. And it's always nice to learn something new."
Wilhelm nodded in agreement. "Definitely. And now he knows how to eat Bua Loi."
They both laughed, enjoying the light-hearted moment together over tea.
