On Friday morning, Wilhelm woke up knowing exactly what he was going to wear to school. Every student at their school knew that Fridays were reserved for wearing their school uniforms. The spring uniform consisted of a short-sleeved shirt, a blue tie, and gray pants or a skirt. The shoes were usually loafers, which could be worn in any season.
As Wilhelm got dressed, he couldn't help but think about how comfortable the spring uniform was compared to the winter uniform. During the winter months, they had to wear a blazer over a sweater, which could be quite uncomfortable and restrictive. But in the spring, they could wear just the short-sleeved shirt and tie, which was much more comfortable.
Wilhelm met up with Lena, his closest female friend, on the way to school. She was also wearing the spring uniform, complete with long black socks. They chatted about how much more comfortable the spring uniform was compared to the winter uniform.
"I'm so glad we don't have to wear all those layers anymore," Lena said with a grin.
Wilhelm nodded in agreement. "I know, right? It's so much easier to move around in just the shirt and tie."
As they walked to school, Wilhelm asked Lena if she was free to study tomorrow. He mentioned that he and some friends were planning to study at Jonas's house.
Lena smiled. "Actually, I was planning to invite Sophia to study with us tomorrow too. So we'll both be there."
Wilhelm nodded. "Great, the more the merrier. It'll be good to have everyone together to study for the exam."
As they arrived at school, Wilhelm and Lena parted ways to head to their respective classrooms. Wilhelm felt a sense of comfort and camaraderie wearing the school uniform, knowing that he was part of a larger community of students who shared the same traditions and values.
