Xavier who just awoke, scratched his hair and was still yawing his face was red from Alexanders slapped but it seems he didn't feel the pain.
"Wake up, i found a way to get in". He said at the yawning Xavier.
"Get in to where exactly?" . The sleepy Xavier asked.
"Down towards the temple".
Alexander told Xavier about what he knew so that he can also help with the plan it was a two man team against an entire dungeon, it's fair to call the temple a dungeon by now since it's inhabited by monsters.
"From what I heard the only devastating thing that could happen underground is if a giant sandworm is nearby"
"Where did you hear that?", Alexander asked.
"From varia"
Varia?, since when did Xavier and varia get close enough to talk, from the last interaction Xavier was sent flying into a building, Alexander thought.
Alexander quickly brushed off those thoughts and began to make a plan on how they could get to the center of the temple.
The temple of wind had three floors, the top floor was where the people who kept and guarded the temple stayed at. the second floor was the Grand library many high ranking people and commoners would go there since it's a free access the shelves contained every knowledge from magic and technologies to even medicine.
Alas the first floor, the place Alexander wanted to go there was a statue of Adeera in human form at the center and behind her was a glass art of her and a red dragon.
Everytime the sun rose in the morning it would aim towards the glass art and make the Statue of Adeera shine it was a spectacular to see.
Now back to the planning there wasn't much thought to be honest both of them were just planning charging in and out.
Simple right?.
Xavier knew Alexander could take on this mission even if he was alone even Alexander knew he could if he tried but there's a gut feeling that stops him from doing so.
Like a dreadful scene was about to occur, that right there was red flag to not go in.
Both of them were silent, Xavier clinched his hands and asked.
"What are you really looking for?"
This entire time, Xavier followed Alexander without knowing his goal but at such important moment he had to ask.
"You followed me without knowing my true goal, I guess i can trust you with it"
Alexander told Xavier the thing that he was looking for after hearing the words of Alexander he crossed his heart and vowed to not tell anyone about this.
His questions were answered but the plan was not made yet.
"Aren't you like a few hundred years old? Can't you, you know think of plans that you experienced", Xavier anxiously asked Alexander.
"Unfortunately I don't do strategies since I just blow up army's with a single breath"
"Can't you blast your way in?"
"If I did the temple would crumble and even if I can, it would only last a few minutes cause of the damn curse"
"Should I just call for help?"
"Alright make sure the person your calling is a good strategist"
Xavier stood up and ran out the door, Alexander who was left behind decided to grab a few breads that were on the table while waiting, thirty minutes later Xavier opened the door.
"Took you long enough"
"Sorry, she was being a bit stubborn until I mentioned your name"
"She?"
The girl entered their place and saw Alexander to which she bowed, it was varia the archer.
"Ohh, muscle girl", Alexander said while eating bread.
"Varia, my Lord"
"Sure sure, Xavier did you explain the situation to her?"
Xavier nodded and all three of them sat down, varia was an experienced fighter with Alexander's layout about the Temple varia could tell them where the spots that they could be surrounded so she would put an X on the paths they should not go.
After the planning, varia elaborated once again they did not know what monster lay in the deepest part of the temple they could only hope that it was something Alexander could beat.
"I'm coming with you", varia halted.
"Sure Why not", Alexander replied quickly.
Xavier was the only one in shock why would he take her with them, then Xavier remembered Varia was a warrior and an archer she is most likely more powerful than Xavier.
"When will we depart?", varia asked.
"Tomorrow, prepare food and things that humans will need so they can survive"
"Alright then tomorrow at the same time", varia turned and waved goodbye.
The two of them began to prepare aswell they took bread and water, some fruits and sleeping bags.
At night Alexander was already asleep whilst Xavier on the other hand couldn't sleep he was both nervous and excited. He wiggled around his bed he tried to sleep but he couldn't he just can't stop thinking about going into the temple.
Morning.
The sun rose and Alexander woke up he yawned and saw Xavier on the table already eating his breakfast.
"Your up early"
Xavier didn't respond, his head slowly turned towards Alexander.
"Who are you?", Alexander asked.
"It's me Alex, I didn't get sleep last night", Xavier looked like an undead his eyes were drowsy and he had black circle below his eyes he was also drooling Abit.
"I can tell", Alexander grabbed a few bread and ate he took his bags and was preparing to leave, "hurry up, tell me if you aren't coming".
Immediately Xavier sprung out of the chair and took his bags and opens the door and ran faster than ever.
"I thought you were tired".
Alexander quickly caught up to Xavier they both arrived on the tower both of them thought they were early since varia didn't come yet.
"Hey! Over here!", a voice came from the top it was varia she was already on top of the tower. With one jump Alexander was already at the top, Xavier took the stairs.
When Xavier arrived there were three people the other one was the shaman it seems he was talking to Alexander.
With that he pushed the hidden button that was on the bell and the tower began to shake as it was shaking the center of the tower opened revealing a ladder going down.
"Have a safe trip", the shaman said and left.
Alexander went inside first it was a bit dark but Alexander left a few flames on the way down so they can see the stairs all they had to do was climb down until they reach a solid ground.
"Ahem, excuse me?", varia looked at Xavier.
Xavier was about to go down but varia stopped him.
"Ladies first"
"Why?", Xavier asked.
"Do you want to see my butt while going down you pervert"
Xavier blushed a bit and he began to clear the way so varia could go down first.
"Thanks"
Both of them followed Alexander, as they went deeper and deeper they heard slashing sounds, they rushed down to see what happened to Alexander.
It was dark, they lit the torch and began to look around and they saw Alexander drenched in blood.
It wasn't his, he was holding an orc head with his sword in his other hand they only arrived but the battle had already began.
"This is the top floor"
