The section of medicine, it consists of medical knowledge that has been left behind by the ancient people of xeves there were a bunch a varieties of books including about herbs and illnesses that people experience the past.
As they walk through the first section xavier opened as many books as he can. he knew they were in such a rush so he just took a glance and put it back and proceeds to open the other books.
They quickly passed the first section, they proceeded towards the second section Technology, though It did interest varia Xavier didn't really quite understand anything about technology.
Third section, section of Magic Xavier was immediately hooked as he reads all the books regarding wind and earth magic. Alexander also read some of the books and varia just stood on guard since she didn't know anything about magic, they stayed there longer than they should have.
They went to the next section but the shelves were empty, it didn't have any other books so they just ignored the fourth section. Next was the history section, as Alexander remembered it was full of historical knowledge, it contained even the history of the continent itself.
Yet as they were approaching the shelves it was empty and full of cobwebs, it's either been stolen or it's been completely erased, it was suspicious. All the other books were still intact but the history section was completely empty.
"Let's go, our business ends here time to go downwards", Alexander went first across the wide library.
"Wait aren't you curious about what happened to the history section?"
"I am not curious so let's go"
Leading the way, they soon discovered the stairs leading downwards, strange it was fairly easy unlike the top floor.
At every step going down the stairs the air continues to thicken and the hair on their skins were standing, it was something frightening.
They went deeper and deeper. the bright light that was shining from the luminous orbs began to fade they had no choice but to use their torches again.
Midway down, some heavy breathing could be heard it was loud. It's like someone trying to catch their breath at this point varia and Xavier stopped moving whilst Alexander kept on going.
"Wait, Alex it could be dangerous", Xavier didn't speak to loudly, he fears what might happen if he shouts.
"We're close to the bottom, stopping now will only delay us"
Xavier sighed and cautiously followed him along with varia, after a couple of minutes they could see the end of the stairs. Xavier ran pass Alexander and they made it the very first floor of the temple.
Much like the second floor it didn't have any monster but the only difference is that there is no light, their torches could only lit the places they were Standing on.
"Empty again?", varia began to explore her surroundings.
"There's nothing here Alex"
"No, Its definitely here and something else is here aswell"
Just then loud footsteps were approaching them, "take cover!". Varia was the one making the footstep sounds but strange something is coming, something really big.
Upon shining the light towards the darkness that varia was running away from it revealed a dark green color. Is it an ogre again?, it was not.
The eyes were empty it's head had greenish skin while the most of the skin was rotting and some of the bones were seen, it's roar echoed in the dark and gloomy temple.
"It's.....", Xavier looked towards Alexander and saw his face, it had a bit of anger and pity. He is giving signs of experiencing multiple emotions.
" An Undead... Dragon", Alexanders face didn't know how to react to what he just discovered.
The dragon came charging towards Alexander at full speed, it opened it's mouth made out of mere bones. It was about to eat Alexander whole.
Swish.
Four arrows came and hit the dragons face then a huge earth wall was formed below it's chin and it immediately rised and cracked the jaw bone of the dragon.
"Wake up, Alexander accept this reality"
Alexander didn't move, he was still in thought. The dragon had enough he was charged towards Alexander again, but this time it was different.
It's jaws opened but it stopped midway the dragons mouth began to smoke. It was only his mouth but it's entire body.
Alexander was pointing at the dragon with one finger, and the dragon was suddenly burning.
Alexander who was once standing was on the floor sitting down holding his nose with his hands.
"That was high level magic, I managed to suppress the curse but now I'm having a backlash, finish it"
They both nodded, varia stretched her bow and shot 3 arrows with Xaviers wind magic it was faster and stronger but once it hit only 1 arrow managed to hit the dragon the other two was strangely redirected.
"Destroy it's head", Alexander was guiding them from the back.
Alas varia shot 8 arrows aiming towards its head and Xavier threw a massive boulder towards its head aswell.
After a few struggling a dragon finally stood still, it has finally rested by ending it's miserable life.
Alexander stood up with the help of varia, the three of them approached the dead dragon as they inspect it.
"Did you know this dragon Alex?, you were in quite a shock for a while"
"I do know this dragons family, not him directly"
"How so?"
"Well, this dragons race actually served us the Sun Dragons directly as butlers and maids, I think this one was the son of the head maid"
Then a sudden clapping sound was heard the clapping sound came from the darkness.
"Bravo, Alexandros" , it was a girls voice and she was also speaking in dragon tongue.
Immediately after hearing those words Alexander stepped in front of varia and Xavier, he is protecting them.
Flick.
With a single flick all the torches and lamps inside the temple lit up, and as they did it revealed a stunning place. Alexander looked Infront he saw the Statue of Adeera and below her was a girl sitting between the legs of the statue, dark purple hair and black eyes wearing what seems to be an old dress from ancient times.
"Lady adeera?", varia spoke.
"No it's not her, that thing will never be her"
The girl slowly floats and landed in the center of the Temple, she was walking around in circles in what seems to be an altar.
"Don't compare me to a disgusting creature such as Adeera", the girl spoke with anger.
"The only disgusting creature here is you, selene", Alexander confronted her face to face.
"Don't act like your strong again Alexandros, remember what deus did to you?"
The ground began to shake below them. The thing that seemed like an altar opened and slowly a sword was revealed, selene tried to grab it's handle but her hand was immediately burned.
"Worth a shot", selene smirked and suddenly kicked Alexander in the face. "Varia!, Xavier! Run!!!", Alexander shouted and threw a few punches towards selene and they began to fight.
"No!, I will not leave Alexander here!", varia pulls Xavier but he was being stubborn. He grabbed the wall and tried to escaped varias grip.
But his eyes soon opened wide at a sight he could not believe, varia aswell released her hand and fell to the ground.
"Wait?!, this can't be real right?!!, right?!?", Xavier exclaimed.
Infront of them Alexander was standing but his side stomach had a massive hole, his mouth was puking blood.
As they looked at his face, his mouth began to move 'run'. Until his final breath he had to save his comrades.
"I'll let them be for your sake atleast Alexandros", Selene's hand was full of blood as she walked away from Alexanders corpse.
The two of them ran as much as they could with tears flowing down.
But somewhere in another world a certain child was born.
