"What did you want to ask me?" Professor Balfour asked, light returning to his eyes.
I frowned. It seemed stupid now that we were here. What was I going to ask him? 'We wanted to learn early about magic and what our next classes will be like. Teach us' That would be rude after all this.
"We wanted to ask about what Magic affinity's are and what you think ours is." Raven muttered, but they still hadn't been able to look up from the ground.
"Magic affinities, huh? I think you should wait and listen to what your teacher says. Just a few more day's kids." He said, smiling at us. He usually wouldn't mind giving a lecture about any topic that he knew enough about. It was part of who he was.
"Professor-" I started, but he held up a hand.
"Lora, you're a strong kid. But your friends faced something today that they weren't ready for. Help them back to their dorms." He said, turning and walking away.
