Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Unstoppable!

The Goblin Patrolman was hacked down, wailing frantically while swinging its club even more vigorously in retaliation. It was a back-and-forth exchange of blows - a club hit from it, a sword strike from the skeleton warrior. It was an exchange of hits that seemed almost enjoyable.

The club hit the skeleton warrior but only managed to make it wobble a bit, hardly causing any real damage. Meanwhile, the skeleton warrior's sword strikes dealt real damage to the Goblin Patrolman. After five strikes, the Goblin Patrolman let out a scream and fell into a pool of blood.

Lin's storage space now had an additional bone material. After transmigration, everyone receives a storage space that expands with level ups. It can hold various items, materials, equipment, and food, which is very convenient.

Lin tried to see if he could store the skeleton warriors in it, but he couldn't.

Having killed a Goblin Patrolman, Lin now had a good understanding of the strength of level 10 monsters. Generally, there isn't much difference between monsters of the same level.

With a thought, 28 skeleton warriors were released. Just like in the novice dungeon, these warriors quickly dispersed, each searching for their enemy. The density of monsters in the wilderness far exceeded that in the novice dungeon, allowing Lin's experience to rise even faster than before.

The alerts began to flash across like a barrage, with Lin hardly able to keep up. At this rate, reaching level 8 would take less than an hour.

"I made the right choice."

Lin clenched his fist, feeling a bit excited. At this pace, reaching level 15 before the big exam seemed achievable, though what happens after level 10 remained to be seen, depending on how experience requirements change.

As the skeleton warriors spread out, they drew the attention of other adventurers. At first glance, some mistook them for monsters, but a quick scan revealed they were summons. However, these summons were exceedingly strong, easily slaying level 10 monsters as if it were nothing.

Fortunately, Lin quickly recalled the skeleton warrior that was being followed, eluding the curious adventurers. He then shifted direction and headed deeper into the wilderness, distancing himself from West Sea City.

As he went on slaying monsters, not limited to just level 10, but also levels 11, 12, and even 13, it simply took a few more strikes from the skeleton warriors to bring them down. Their resilience was unmatched; you couldn't harm them, but they could easily kill you. It was as simple as that.

With a 7th level character leading a band of skeleton warriors with astonishingly high attributes, Lin left no monster alive in his path. By the afternoon, he was on the verge of reaching level 9, with his skeleton army growing to a formidable force of 40, rampaging through the area, unmatched by any.

"Reaching level 10 allows me to learn new skills, but I lack skill scrolls."

"It looks like I'll have to rely on my talent skills for now, fortunately, they're strong enough. Even without new skills, it won't hinder my leveling."

Every 10 levels, adventurers can learn new skills through three methods: mentorship, skill books, or skill scrolls. For unique hidden jobs like Lin's, finding a mentor or skill books is virtually impossible, leaving skill scrolls as the only option. However, they are costly, and there's a risk of learning skills already known, making it a potentially costly gamble.

As Lin pondered his next steps, he leveled up again, reaching level 10.
