Lin Moyu observed his upgraded attributes: Strength and agility had not changed significantly, consistently increasing by 10 points with each level up. However, his spiritual power had directly reached 300 points, an increase of 120 points.
"It's said that there's a significant boost in attributes after reaching level 10. As a necromancer, the biggest change is in spiritual power."
He then noticed the changes in his skills, which excited him. His talent had strengthened again, from a 10-fold amplification to a 20-fold amplification. Even if nothing else changed, his skeleton warriors' combat power would increase by many times.
Moreover, the level of the skeleton warriors had changed from iron to bronze.
Eager, Lin summoned a skeleton warrior. The bronze skeleton warrior, its previously gray color replaced by a shade of cyan-white. The cracks on its body had almost entirely vanished, and even the sword it held seemed several degrees shinier, no longer resembling something scavenged from a trash heap.
Bronze Skeleton Warrior
Strength: 3000
Agility: 3000
Spirit: 3000
Constitution: 3000
Skill: Berserk Strike (Level 1)
Berserk Strike (Level 1): Deals 200% of its own strength as damage to the target, cooldown 10 minutes.
The attributes were still balanced, with a base attribute reaching 150 points. After a 20-fold increase through comprehensive amplification, all attributes reached an astonishing 3000 points. With the information Lin currently had, he couldn't determine how these attributes compared to various class levels. But with these attributes, Lin could roam freely in this area.
Additionally, a new skill gave the skeleton warrior the ability to burst damage momentarily.
"Is this like a one-trick pony?" Lin thought of a phrase from his previous life. Without any complex or gorgeous skills, just one or two practical and powerful skills could dominate.
Now, without the grand spells of a mage or the dazzling combat skills of a warrior, Lin was confident that no one below level 20 could be his opponent. With the skeleton warrior's attributes and his passive skills, even standing still and letting someone at level 20 hit him would take a long time to inflict any damage.
As Lin was about to continue summoning bronze skeleton warriors, a whooshing sound approached, followed by an arrow flying past him. Several more arrows flew by, one hitting him. An invisible barrier appeared, blocking the arrow. The passive skill activated automatically, transferring all damage to the skeleton warriors without Lin getting hurt.
Lin received an alert, and the skeleton warrior's eyes glowed red, ready for combat. A person in black ran out from the forest, moving quickly, likely a rogue class by Lin's judgment.
Seeing Lin, the person quickly changed direction and vanished. Following closely, two more people appeared, a bowman and a mage, not bothering with Lin as they pursued the person in black.
Lin watched them leave, muttering, "Lucky for you." He could tell the two were not very high level, probably around 20, based on the strength of the arrows. If they had attacked him, Lin was ready to retaliate fully.
Lin didn't believe in turning the other cheek; he would return any aggression tenfold. Had the mage attacked, Lin would have quickly surrounded them with his skeleton warriors for a potential deadly confrontation.
The two returned, realizing their mistake in pursuit direction. They noticed Lin and, after a brief exchange where Lin demanded an apology for the arrow, went on their way, missing the rogue they were chasing. Lin watched them leave, feeling fortunate not to have escalated the confrontation.
After witnessing Lin, the person in black quickly changed direction and vanished. Shortly after their departure, two more pursuers arrived. Judging by their attire, Lin guessed their professions: an archer and a mage. Unsurprisingly, the arrows came from the archer. Without Lin's passive skill to transfer damage, he would have certainly been injured. The two paid Lin no mind and hurriedly followed in pursuit.
Lin's gaze flickered. They had chosen the wrong direction. The person in black had changed course here; the pursuers were destined to return empty-handed. As expected, the duo quickly retraced their steps. The mage began to use a skill, creating a breeze around Lin. Soon after, the mage sighed, "That guy is cunning; he's already escaped."
The archer remarked, "No matter, he can only escape for so long. We'll catch him eventually." Then, turning to Lin, he inquired, "Kid, did a person in black pass by here?"
Lin didn't respond directly but instead said softly, "Your arrow hit me. Apologize."
Realizing his mistake, the archer apologized, "Sorry about that." Lin waved it off, "Just make sure it doesn't happen again." The archer felt as though Lin was looking down on him from a lofty position.
The mage, still frustrated by the escapee, glanced disdainfully at Lin's skeleton warriors. "Undead summons," he muttered with a hint of disgust, raising his staff slowly. The skeleton warriors' eyes glowed red, ready for battle.
The archer quickly cautioned the mage, "Let's not cause more trouble." The mage hesitated but eventually lowered his staff, "Fine."
Watching the two retreat, Lin commented, "You're lucky." Even without using Detect Magic, Lin could tell from the force of the arrows that their attack power was not significant. These two were likely around level 20 at most. Had they decided to attack, Lin felt he might have had to take lethal action. He was not one to turn the other cheek; any aggression towards him would be returned tenfold.
As the mage raised his staff, Lin had already recalled all his skeleton warriors back into the summoning space. They could have easily encircled and overwhelmed them in an instant, ensuring a brutal end.
