Freya froze, staring at her friend, trying to come up with words that wouldn't make him feel how truly earth-shattering the pain was. However, Mordeu had a small smile on his face as if it wasn't his friendship with Cillian that came to an abrupt end, as if he had never actually cared for Cillian, and as if he wasn't hurt by Cillian's sudden decision to end their friendship.
Freya was confused about what to say, so she just stared at him, watching him for even the minor details, but all Mordeu did was unpack. He grabbed his sleeping bag from the horse and laid it on the ground just like everyone else was doing.
The sun had already given way to the moon when they all finished setting up camp. There wasn't anything particularly interesting about the setting; they all laid their sleeping bags in an orderly fashion around the arranged piles of wood that had yet to be set ablaze.
