Inside the surveillance room, the members couldn't understand what had happened to the cameras. They tried everything to resolve the issue but were unsuccessful.
They noticed that only the outside cameras were not working properly, so they assumed that something might have happened outside, like a power cut or some other issue.
So they called some members and instructed them to check the outside cameras.
Three guys entered the basement lift to go outside and check the surveillance cameras.
Inside the lift, one guy said, "Ha, what a pain in the ass! First that Athene guy, now the cameras. Everything is getting fucked up, huh?"
Hearing that, another guy replied, "Yeah, just you wait and see. I'll be the one to kill that Athene guy."
The first guy responded, "No need for you to get tense because I'll be the one to kill that Athene guy."
As they were arguing over who would eliminate the Athene guy, they reached one of the cameras.
The guy who had remained silent in the discussion said to the person who started the conversation, "Go and climb the pole to see what happened."
To which the guy replied, "Where are the stairs?"
He responded, "The stairs went for repairs. Yesterday, our guys were playing with it and broke it. Shitty drunkards."
That guy replied, "I can't climb the pole. Hey you," pointing to the other guy, "Why don't you climb up and check it?"
He replied, "Why me? You go and check it."
They started arguing again about who would climb the pole.
The guy in the middle got frustrated and said, "Shut up, both of you bastards. I will climb and check it. And I will also be the one to eliminate that Athene guy."
Saying this, he moved forward and then...
Thud!
A bullet pierced his head, which was shot by Surya with precise aim.
Seeing his body fall to the ground, the other guys were completely astonished. They were unable to respond or understand what had happened, seemingly in a state of shock.
Before they could react, they were shot by the snipers.
Arjun then instructed Surya to enter the junkyard and hide their bodies.
It wasn't the first time Surya had killed someone with his own hands.
The incident at 'Dragon Palace' helped him remain calm in that moment.
He entered the junkyard and dragged the three bodies behind a car to conceal them from view.
After Surya hid their bodies, Arjun instructed him to proceed slowly towards the room where the elevator to the base is located.
Following Arjun's guidance, Surya cautiously approached the room housing the elevator.
Using parked cars as cover, he swiftly dispatched guards patrolling the area with well-aimed shots, supported by sniper cover.
Approaching the room's entrance, Surya observed several cartel members engaged in suspicious activities inside. Concerned about confronting them directly, he contacted Arjun for advice.
"There are many members in that room. How should I deal with them? Should I throw one of the mini cameras inside the room so you can instruct the snipers to clear it?"
Hearing Surya's words, Arjun replied, "What do you think? Why did I give you grenades? They're not for show. Throw two grenades—one through the door and the other through the window."
Listening to Arjun's command, Surya said, "Okay," and held one grenade in his right hand.
It was the first time Surya was using a grenade in a real battle. He took a deep breath to calm down, then pulled the pin and stepped out from cover to throw the grenade through the window.
Boom!
The guys inside the room, engaged in their tasks, were surprised when they saw the grenade in front of their eyes, just before it exploded.
They were unable to react in time.
Surya then threw another grenade through the door.
Boom!
The loud sound from the first grenade alerted everyone inside the base. Everyone was surprised after hearing that sound.
Some group leaders entered the surveillance room to investigate what had happened.
Then another loud sound made them realize that their base was under attack.
As soon as the grenade exploded, all the cameras in the surveillance room were jammed.
The group leaders who entered the surveillance room were unable to understand what had happened to the cameras.
One of the group leaders asked the surveillance team, "What's happening? Why aren't the cameras working?"
The leader of the surveillance team said, "We don't know what's happening with the cameras. We're trying to resolve it."
Then another group leader said, "Now is not the time to talk with each other. We are under attack. First, we need to deal with it."
Then another group leader said, "Whoever they may be, they had to enter through that elevator only. There's no other way into the base."
The group leader who initiated the conversation said, "Okay. My team will stand guard at the elevator. You guys prepare arms. We will show those who attacked us what hell looks like."
All the other group leaders nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, the leader of the surveillance team said, "I will do my best to resolve the camera issue and inform you about the attackers."
The group leader gathered all his men and stood before the elevator, each armed with weapons in hand.
They waited for the elevator to descend. Once the doors opened, they were ready to empty their magazines, spraying bullets at the attackers.
The basement contains many rooms, from the surveillance room to the office room, the ammunition room, along with a canteen and other work-related rooms. However, the only entrance is through that elevator.
They even installed a separate inverter for the elevator to ensure it would operate during power cuts. This meant that anyone wanting to attack them would have to use that elevator as the only point of entry.
After throwing the second grenade, Surya slowly closed the distance between himself and the room.
Arjun then told him to put on the spectacles to see through the smoke.
Following Arjun's instructions, Surya wore the spectacles and entered the room. Inside, he saw that all the men were on the ground with the burnt marks.
He then shot the ones who showed any movement.
He then opened the elevator and entered it.
As the elevator door was about to close, Arjun told Surya to put on the mask.
As Surya was putting on the mask, the doors of the elevator closed.
In the basement, the group leader and his team were ready to launch an attack.
As the elevator reached the basement, its doors slowly opened.
The group leader didn't even wait for the doors to fully open. He instructed his team to start the attack by shouting loudly, "Attack!"
