As the smoke gradually settled, Arjun could see the attackers charging toward Surya.
Arjun: AI, quickly do the calculations. We have very limited time.
AI: Understood. I am on it.
Arjun: After calculating the angles, guide them to the snipers.
AI tried to calculate the precise angle where the snipers needed to shoot, taking every possible parameter into account.
After calculating the angle, AI immediately issued directions to the snipers.
As Surya tensed up with their approaching charge, Arjun reassured him, saying, "Calm down. I will handle them. Once I give the signal, enter that door as quickly as possible."
Arjun's words brought some relief to Surya.
The members who were slowly closing in on Surya aimed towards the end, hoping to take action if any attacker emerged from cover.
Suddenly, the guy in the front was shot by a bullet, which surprised everyone.
It didn't stop there. One by one, everyone who charged towards Surya was getting hit by bullets.
The shots were accurately hitting their heads, leaving them no chance of survival.
Seeing this, the group leader on the corner tried to cover himself by lowering down.
But Arjun spotted him on the surveillance cameras, so the group leader was unable to escape from the sniper.
When he got shot, he wondered for a moment how he could have been shot and from where.
Arjun then signaled Surya to move.
Upon hearing the signal, Surya advanced towards the door, clutching the automatic rifle in his hand.
After reaching the door, he kicked it open and surveyed the room from outside to check for any members inside.
But he found no one in that room.
He sensed something was off. Meanwhile, Arjun noticed that the members were attempting to ambush Surya by luring him into that room. He quickly informed Surya about the situation.
Upon hearing this, Surya went to check the condition in the other corner where the assault came from.
He even checked the members who had fallen on the ground to see if they had any grenades, as he was left with only one smoke grenade.
Seeing that, Arjun asked, "What are you doing?"
"I have only one grenade left; I can't rush through that door," Surya explained.
Arjun then replied, "If I were in your place, I wouldn't go through the boss room because more than one group leaders are in there."
Surya said, "I think this is the only possible way. Those guys wouldn't expect me to come from the back through the boss room."
Arjun said, "Your point is valid. Oh, and one more thing—if you want to fill your grenade slot, go to the ammunition room."
Surya asked, "Where is it?" Arjun replied, "I don't have a clear idea. I don't have a blueprint of their base, and the placement of cameras isn't helping. All I can say is that every room is connected to the central room."
What Arjun said was correct. Even after hacking every device of 'The Shadow Cartel' group, Arjun was unable to find any blueprint of their base.
This is because the main leader of 'The Shadow Cartel' group is the architect of that basement.
He created a simple yet efficient infrastructure.
At first, he created only one entry to the basement to trap attackers right from the start.
That is why there are no doors in that corridor.
And on the other three corridors, there are doors leading to three rooms: the canteen on the left, the games room on the right, and the members' room at the back.
These three rooms lead to the central room, which is used for meetings and discussions of their plans.
The central room is connected to every other room, and it is the only entry point for the ammunition room.
He didn't even create a washroom in the basement. So, if anyone wants to use the washroom, they have to go to the junkyard, allowing them to observe everything happening around.
One might find it strange, but it is effective. That's the primary reason why no groups or factions have attempted to attack them—because of the casualties.
The main specialty of the boss room is its impenetrability; no guns or bombs can damage its walls.
The only way to enter is through a door that opens with access granted only to group leaders and the main leader himself.
The surveillance room is also present in the boss room so that the main leader can monitor it during dangerous situations like now.
But nothing is working against Surya and Arjun. They seem to be unstoppable.
As Arjun hacked all their cameras, Surya dealt with the members of the group, and no one was able to stop him.
As planned, Surya threw a smoke grenade in front of the boss room.
When the door of the boss room is closed, not even air can enter it.
So the group leaders and the main leader were not able to see through it.
Surya then dropped the automatic rifle, picked up the handgun, loaded the magazine, and rushed towards the door that would lead him to the members' room.
Inside the members' room, there were only four to five members.
They were preparing themselves to join the others.
But Surya quickly and stealthily entered the room, swiftly shooting all the members before they could respond.
He then took an automatic rifle from one of them and attached mini cameras in that room also.
He then slowly opened the door to the central room and saw many guys waiting in front of the canteen door.
Everyone there thought that the attackers would come through that door, as they wouldn't go through the boss room.
But the members on the other corridor saw the smoke in front of the boss room and realized the approach of the attackers.
As they were trying to inform the members in the center room, Surya rushed in, swiftly and skillfully eliminating all of them.
The members were unable to counterattack Surya's assault. It was then that they realized there was only one attacker.
He skillfully and efficiently analyzed the layout of the room and took cover beside a pillar.
He then threw some mini cameras in the surrounding area so that Arjun could also analyze it.
After gaining a clear idea of the center room, Arjun, with the help of AI, quickly calculated the possibilities and angles, guiding the snipers to assist Surya efficiently.
Meanwhile, the members in the corridor and game room, upon learning of Surya's assault, divided themselves into three groups to attack him from three different rooms.
Surya saw that the doors of all rooms were open except one. He thought it might be the ammunition room.
Surya then tried to communicate with Arjun, saying, "Hey, can you hear me? I found the ammunition room, I repeat, I found the ammunition room. I need your assistance to enter."
Arjun replied, "Got it. You'll receive a signal when it's time to move. Until then, stay on guard."
Surya stayed on guard, dealing with the members who were attacking from opposite sides.
As a result, the magazine of the rifle in Surya's hand became empty.
So he switched to his handgun again.
As he was loading the magazine into his gun, he muttered, "Shit." At that moment, the members who were attacking from other covers were shot by snipers.
Surya understood that Arjun had taken charge and waited for his signal.
As soon as he got the signal from Arjun, he dashed towards the ammunition room.
Meanwhile, one of the groups in the corridor fell into Surya's trap and was blasted away. This added to the confusion among the other members, as they could only see one attacker in front of them.
After entering the ammunition room, Surya quickly searched for grenades. Once he filled his grenade slots, he also picked up two mini Uzi guns along with their magazines.
As the members found out that he was in the ammunition room, each member took cover outside, waiting for Surya to come out.
Meanwhile, in the boss room, the group leaders who were listening to the active members' words through walkie-talkies were becoming flustered.
One group leader couldn't hold himself back and said, "I can't wait anymore. I'm joining the action too."
Meanwhile, another group leader said, "No, only the three of us group leaders are present with the leader. If any of us leave, it will become more problematic since no one in the surveillance room can fight."
That group leader understood that it was the work of 'Athene'. He had a feeling that Athene had hacked the cameras and could see what was happening in the boss room.
So he positioned himself in a way that the camera could only see his back, while he signaled the other members with his hands about what he was thinking.
He then said loudly, "You wait, I will go and check it."
Saying this, he went towards the blind spot of the camera and instructed the surveillance team to self-destruct all cameras through his hands.
Once the cameras were down, Arjun sensed that something was wrong. He quickly warned Surya about the situation.
Meanwhile, Surya employed similar tactics to those he used in the elevator and corridor.
He first used smoke grenades to create smoke and then threw grenades on all sides.
After the grenades exploded, he rushed towards the members to completely finish them off using his mini Uzi guns.
Once the bullets of the mini Uzi guns were emptied, he quickly swapped them with the enemies' automatic rifles.
In this way, he quickly and efficiently cleared all the members in the entire basement except for the boss room.
After the cameras were self-destructed, the group leader who understood Athene's intentions entered a wardrobe that was in a blind spot of the camera.
After finishing off everyone, Surya used the access card of one of the group leaders to enter the boss room.
As he opened it, he saw no one, so he slowly advanced into the room.
Suddenly, the group leader in the wardrobe came out from it, pointing his gun towards Surya and said, "Drop the gun immediately."
