After lunch, both Arjun and Surya slept like logs.
Surya set an alarm since he had made plans to visit 'Dragon's Palace'.
When the alarm rang, Surya wasn't in the mood to wake up, so he stopped the alarm and turned to the other side, where he saw Arjun sleeping peacefully.
He still had some doubt about whether he was the real Arjun or not, so he continuously stared at him.
Out of the blue, Arjun asked, "Am I that beautiful? Is that why you're staring at me? Or are you gay?"
Hearing that, Surya immediately got up from the bed, surprised that Arjun had been awake the whole time.
Surya, feeling awkward, said, "You are not beautiful, and I am not gay."
Hearing that, Arjun slowly woke up and said, "I know I'm not beautiful because I'm handsome," with a smile.
Surya replied mockingly, "You're handsome, huh? In your dreams."
Arjun smiled, then took a deep breath, and with a serious tone, he said, "Surya, jokes aside, listen carefully to what I'm about to say now."
Upon hearing those words, Surya also became serious, understanding that Arjun might say something important.
Arjun said, "Today, when you will with those three brothers of 'The Bears' guild, there's a chance that the group leader Aarav may invite you to join their group."
Arjun added, "However, you have to reject his proposal by any means without giving any specific details about us and our operations."
Surya replied in disagreement with Arjun's words, "Why would he invite me to his group when he knows I work separately? He even signed an agreement with us."
Arjun then explained, "It's because of the feat you achieved today."
"You alone defeated the 'Shadow Cartel' group, which is impossible for a single person to achieve," Arjun clarified.
Arjun became more serious, saying, "You know the words I've spoken through you when you're at 'The Bears' group base are true."
"I joined this Mafia to eliminate the 'Brahmarakshas' group," Arjun said.
Those words completely surprised Surya, as he had initially thought it was just a cover story.
So, in shock, Surya asked, "Are you serious?"
Arjun nodded and continued, "Once my revenge is completed, we can return to our normal lives. That's why I don't want you to join them."
Surya, confused, said, "Do you think it's that easy to get out of the mess we've created?"
As Surya understood the nature of the underworld from the words of the three group leaders of 'The Bears' group, he realized the complexities involved.
Arjun then reached into his pant pocket, pulled out a key, and threw it towards Surya, saying "Catch!"
As Surya caught the key, he couldn't immediately understand its purpose.
Arjun then said, "This is the key to that cupboard," pointing towards a cupboard where his phone was kept.
Arjun then said, "It opens the second one."
As Surya went to open that shelf of the cupboard, Arjun continued, "I have already spoken with DSP Digvijay Singh, the officer in charge of dealing with the underworld."
Surya opened the cupboard and found a file inside.
Arjun instructed him to open the file.
As Surya opened it, he found an envelope inside.
Arjun explained, "It's your application to become an undercover officer. With the help of Digvijay sir, I've made you an officer who will work under his orders."
"Digvijay sir's sole aim is also to completely remove the underworld from our country. If we eliminate 'The Brahmarakshas' group, it will almost dismantle the entire underworld of our country," Arjun added.
Surya then opened the envelope and confirmed Arjun's words upon seeing the application confirming his position as an officer.
"If we succeed, then you will become a regular officer working under him, and I will return to my normal work," Arjun explained.
Arjun concluded, "This is the main reason I don't want you to get involved with 'The Bears' group. You can still be their friend, but don't get too deeply involved. I hope you understand."
Surya understood everything and nodded in agreement with Arjun's words.
Arjun then said, "Tomorrow, you can leave for your home. Spend some time with your family, and once my work is completed, you can return and continue your work. Otherwise, you will be a hindrance to me."
To which Surya replied, "That last statement hurts."
Arjun then smiled and said, "Aren't you getting late for your party?"
Surya checked the time and said, "It's okay, I still have some time."
To which Arjun mockingly said, "Do you want to spend some lovey-dovey time with me?"
Surya said, "Shut up," in response to Arjun's mockery. He once again looked at the application and asked Arjun, "Have you never found any other guys except me for this?"
Arjun said, "There were some people, but they weren't from our country."
Arjun added, "Huh, there is one person in our country, but he retired and doesn't want to get mixed up in the underworld again."
Surya asked, "Is he powerful?"
Arjun replied, "He's the only one who's still alive even after messing with 'The Brahmarakshas' group until now."
From those words, Surya understood the capabilities of that person, having seen a glimpse of 'The Brahmarakshas' group's work during the confrontation at the 'Dragon Palace' restaurant.
Out of curiosity, Surya asked, "What is that person's name?"
Arjun replied, "It's Rocky."
Arjun added, "However, he's gotten a bit older. He may not have the same power, skills, and stamina as before."
Surya said, "You can't underestimate anyone in the underworld, especially someone who has tangled with the most powerful group."
Arjun said, "Yeah, you're right."
When Aarav gave Surya a proposal to join his group, Surya was surprised that Arjun had guessed it beforehand.
However, Surya knew how to response it from the start, so without hesitation, he replied, "Sorry, Aarav. I can't."
Aarav said, "You know I'm saying that I'm willing to take a huge risk for you, and you're rejecting it."
Surya replied, "I understand, Aarav. I appreciate your offer, but we're just friends in the normal world."
Surya continued, "Once we enter the underworld, we have a different approach to handling things. I'm also focusing on improving myself."
"But if I come under you, I might become overconfident, which I don't want," Surya added.
Yash also added, "Yes, Aarav. What Krishnan is saying is true. He is an independent operator. He might have formed deals with groups that could be our rivals."
Yash continued, "If he joins us, he won't be seen as competent and trustworthy anymore. You know how things work here, Aarav. Trust is crucial in the underworld."
"If trust breaks, it can lead to many complexities, even resulting in bloodbaths. It's better to avoid that," Yash said.
Kabir also chimed in, saying, "I agree with what Yash said, Aarav. We can't make decisions like this spontaneously without any discussions."
With a disappointed look on his face, Aarav said, "I understand, but I really wanted another brother with me on my side."
Surya said, "Aarav, I'm your brother and a close friend in the normal world, and let's keep it that way."
Upon hearing those words, everyone there smiled with a sense of brotherhood.
Surya then said, "Oh, one more thing. I'm leaving tomorrow for some work-related stuff. I'll be back after a month."
Aarav said, "So we won't be meeting for a few weeks, huh?"
Surya thought Aarav might be disappointed again, but to his surprise, Aarav stood up excitedly and said, "Okay then, I'll cook all my best dishes so you'll come back as soon as possible to enjoy my cooking again."
Upon hearing those words, everyone laughed, and they enjoyed a great feast that night.
The next morning, inside DSP Digvijay Singh's office, an officer knocked on his door, seeking permission to enter.
Digvijay granted him permission, and the officer entered the office, greeting him with a salute.
Digvijay asked him, "What happened?"
The officer said, "Sir, we received information that the 'Athene' guy completely wiped out 'The Shadow Cartel' group."
Digvijay said, "Is that true?"
Only Digvijay and a few people whom he trusts know about Arjun. So he typically acts as if he doesn't know him.
Digvijay said, "It's even difficult for us to raid their basement because of its structure, but a single guy managed it. This makes it clear that this 'Athene' guy is not an ordinary one."
He added, "Tell our investigation team to focus on him and try to find out his role in the underworld and with whom he is making deals."
To which the officer replied, "Okay, sir," and left Digvijay's office.
Digvijay then said to himself, "I think the time to start 'The Rocket' project has come."
