Mirabel opened her eyes wide with surprise. "He heard a bit? He's lying,when did he even come? I haven't noticed his presence until just now,aaargh " she cursed with the fear of him finding out.
"Well…I just wanted to say….goodnight "he smiled.
"Oh…but you've done that before " she replied with questioning eyes.
"Yeah…that was when I first left but…I thought it's best to say it again or…did I offended you by thinking so…?" He narrowed his eyes.
"No..no..not at all" she stammered.
"Less I forget,we have a little…thing to talk about…" he whispered into her ears as he gave her a hug.
"Now..?"
"No,tomorrow. Later in school,I need to go to bed now my eyes are already dimming " he laughed.
"Alright then goodnight " her mom smiled wiping her hands with the kitchen napkin.
"Night Puppy " he threw her a kiss.
"Hehe" she laughed and slapped it off.
"Huh? That's not fair , Mrs Morries please tell her it isn't fair ,that's not how to treat a gentleman " he bowed like a perfect English man.
"Yeah… hon that's not how to treat an handsome gentleman,her mom laughed,then she turned to stare at Jeremy who was still standing at the entrance. Or…perhaps the damsel wants more than just a thrown kiss huh?" . She said blinking her long lashes at Jeremy.
"Mom…" Mirabel whispered tensed.
"What more does the damsel wants more huh? I will go to the end of the world for my beauty " he knelt down on a knee holding her hands.
"Hehe she laughed,are you really serious right now? You're so dramatic you know, just go away"
"It hurts me humble heart to hear my beauty tell me to my face to go to hell! but I must do as she says ,her voice is the only voice I hear,her command is the only I hearken to,so dear beauty it is by your commandment I shall go and whenever you need me I shall return to your humble self" he bowed kissed her knuckles and got up on his feet.
"Hehe she giggled ,she laughed so hard that her feet couldn't hold her weight anymore ,she crushed on the tiled floor holding her stomach. Gosh…Jeremy you need to be an actor,I wonder why you're always running away from tge school's theater".
"Well..,he laughed that's not my thing, you're the only one that can see this side of me" .
"And why is that so?" She asked getting up on her feet.
