"I think I need to go to bed now " her mom smiled and walked off.
"Special? What do you mean?" she asked feeling a queev sensation.
"I meant…you're special,what does that means to you?" He rolled his eyes.
"I….don't…know" she stammered.
"Well …I don't think I should beat around the bush for too long , he folded his arms. You're special to me that's what I mean ".
"How..? Like as a friend or…"she just couldn't complete her statement it was too scary to,but at less she made an impression on what she meant.
"Or…what?" He narrowed his eyes.
"Nothing "she answered feeling a strange sensation,the was far different from what she first felt.
"Hmm,he sighed. You know we don't need that right?".
"Need what?" She asked curiously.
"The or…thing,we don't need it,we are better this way". He smiled.
"I…don't get you" she arched her brow.
"I mean we are better as just being friends and nothing more, or..do you want something else" he stared expectantly at her eyes.
"No..no"she stuttered.
"Whoa! He exclaimed. That's great then I knew that we were both on same page, being just friends is best for us huh,especially me. I know it may kind of seem like I'm being selfish but… I don't really care".
"Yeah…it's not good for us,she said. Especially with someone like you,you're a heart breaker "she muttered .
"Yeah…I know,and I think I'm okay this way,it suits me best" he smirked.
"So…what's your conclusion on Emily "she folded her arms waiting for his response.
"What about her?"
"Come on Jerry you know what I'm saying ".
"Ohhh! He exclaimed,well.. I'm trying to advise her not to go on that track with me,I'm no good, it's best we remain friends if it's okay by her,you're her friend you are in the best position to advise her more Puppy".
The clock on the sitting room wall rang 12:00pm.
"Well…I guess this is the time to finally say goodnight " he drew her closer for a hug.
"Goodnight Jerry " . She half smiled.
"Night … my sweet Puppy".
