Chapter 5 - Lore of the Dragons Part 2 - The Dragonarchy

The Chou tribe was the older generation of dragons with far greater strengths and knowledge than the Dragon-gods themselves. Claiming that the new generation was too immature for their liking, the Chou chose to occupy the moons surrounding Hilderia, being five in number.

Led by Ryujin, the Chuo was the balance of the Dragonarchy.

Personally, the Chuo were not ones to be into the whole politics thing. They seldom got involved in the matters of dragons only in times of Inter-dragonic warfare.

Once a part of the Longwang's territory, they deserted after his presumed death.

These were the most important of the entire dragon race because of the knowledge they possessed. About five thousand masters in the Legion of the Chou, each of them was walking libraries.

Ryujin was the spirit dragon, brother of Longwang, and father of Otohime, the goddess of love.

One of the many reasons Uleen came for Longwang was his threat level, the other being the vast knowledge - In the city of the Dragon was a library, with books of different arts.

These books were said to be a part of the library of the Kingdom of Light. (The kingdom of the great Creator Jordan)

The Dragons were capable of proficiently using anything magic-related.

All of dragon-kind lived in an extra-dimensional realm, legend has it that within the tallest of peaks lie the deepest cave in all of Hilderia contains a gateway of substance capable of allowing passage between worlds.

In a world called Wuxia

If they were capable of shifting into humans, it has never been seen.

As time passed most of their existence became that of memories, because they never left the moon. Even with Inter-dragonic warfare, they only needed about two or three of these elders to stop the rampaging of the dragon-gods.

They were still far too inexperienced.

Their abilities were mostly unknown, all that was known was that Raijin taught Baihu the Wing Chun Techniques

In general, not much was known about them.

Going back to the Dragon-gods, the season they represented, and their aspect were the cause of the frequent Inter-dragon warfare.

Quinglong and Suzaku are best of friends being birth and rebirth respectively.

Quinglong and Baihu most of the time did not see eye to eye, his aspect directly opposed what she stood for in the universe.

Xuan Wu did not really care for any of these, so he never showed up.

The true power of the Dragon race was never fully explored, even in a different world their battles could be felt in Hilderia.

...

High up in the sky was the Beast.

Its seemingly endless hunger was under control enough for it to marvel at the beauty of the night.

Higher It went.

The higher It went the more excited It became. As the night aged so did Its speed and strength.

The curse of the once-overpowered god having strength that once surpassed or comparable to the Great Creator Jordan himself.

It flew distances of continents in mere hours with that not even being Its top speed. It finally reached the human continent of Willow-Hinds not wanting to draw any attention to Itself the King shifted into a fish.

A white vertebrate emanating such power from its very essence.

It could see humans on the coast, swimming, fishing, or doing whatever it is that humans do.

'Control' it said to itself as Its essence was leaking out pure bloodlust and hunger for human flesh.

Its swimming was so fast that it temporarily changed the ocean's tide in which it swam in. It finally reached land where a bunch of humans were. Dressed in some kind of pre-historic medieval outfit they jollied around in joy showcasing powers that were not native to them; children levitating within eye distance of their parents, Adults playing with fire.

Feeling a sense of familiarity with the foreign power, a feeling of sadness and respect.

'This power.....' It thought to Itself, trying to remain calm it then again shifted into a small dove and flew to the foot of a mountain called Willow Peak.

This peak was found in the Willow Forest near the human city of Talen.

Masking Its presence, It burrowed a hole into the foot of the mountain with its fearsome strength he camped in there till the night.

....

Andrea Hill, by this time, was the king of the human territory of Talen, he was working very hard to unify all the humans under his unobjected rule.

About to board a royal ship covered in beautiful red cloth and carefully sewn gold patterns on it. At the edge of the continent, King Andrea felt a terrible yet majestically powerful presence that made his body shiver.

'Zing'

The Heart of Power hummed in familiarity.

Andrea thought nothing of it, 'Just my power growing' he seemed to tell himself. It was true that his power grew exponentially every day.

The heart of power was adjusting his body to be able to contain its destructive power, he went on to board the ship when the mysterious presence vanished, and the humming stopped.

His mission:

Join all the human territory into one, blessing them with power and genetic mutation to accustom them to the power of his current heart.

Essentially growing his manpower into a powerful army to conquer all of Hilderia under his authority and his alone.

How could a living thing be this greedy?

Another story for another day

...

The Night was young, deep in the foot of Willow Peak was a puzzled half-formed Lycanthrope (previously a white dove). This half transformation made the Lycan appear deformed with the wings of a dove but much more ginormous as compared to the former small white wings.

'Howl'

'Growl'

The noises that echoed in the cave and the surrounding forest

It fought Its transformation eventually besting the curse.

This newfound resistance had to do with the consumption of the magical essence of the low-level elves from the previous night.

How long will it last? The ultimate mystery

Emerging from the self-made cave was the perfect infiltrator no one could have ever expected.
