Chapter 3 - Ch. : 3. Escape from Century, Mad Fury Chase, and Sand Hurricane

Nikator Joe sat in his two-story car, accelerating it to full speed.

His other sons and war boys also began the chase.

Nikator Joe was furious that he had been fooled by a boy whose hair hadn't fully grown yet.

He was enraged that he couldn't see the conspiracy laid right under his nose.

Meanwhile, Manav was in a truck that suddenly changed its direction from Diesel City to the desert.

The other escorts were confused, but they didn't say anything and followed the truck. Manav emerged from a hole in the tank to the driver's cabin and instructed Aurora, "Furiosa, don't stop. Just run the truck until we reach our destination, the sea, okay."

Furiosa nodded and accelerated the truck.

"Furiosa, this is our first and only chance. I have upgraded this truck into a mobile fortress. We can survive for more than three months, and the truck can run for one month, okay," Manav instructed Furiosa before returning to the tanker room where the girls were sitting anxiously.

"Okay, girls, we are out of proximity from the Cwntury, and soon we will escape from the clutches of Nikator Joe. Now just rest," Manav comforted the girls, boosting their courage. The girls nodded, their fists tightened, showing happiness and courage. Manav nodded and sat on the bed, thinking about the future and what he had to do.

While staying at the Century, he found a few old and preserved papers in a rugged state. They were a world map of this world.

He discovered that this world has many continents and is many times bigger than his previous world.

Since this is one of the worlds in the jurisdiction of that punk goddess, this world would definitely be unique.

Manav conducted many experiments on different types of fuels and found that except for diesel, and fuel related to diesel, nothing else would work.

So, he made his first rule, and that was to excel in diesel-powered machinery and engines.

Because diesel is the only lifeline of this world, and his way to survive to the top of this world.

While he was thinking, the girls were also conversing about how they would reach that green place and what they would do after reaching there.

"By the way, Manav, how far is that green place, and will we really be free once we reach there?" Lajawab asked with a cute face and clever tone in her voice.

"Don't worry, we will reach that place. Just wait, okay," Manav assured them.

After hearing Manav, the girls nodded in acceptance and resumed their conversation about the stories told them by Manav.

When the war boys on the truck saw that the truck was going in the wrong direction, one of them asked what was going on and why they were going in the wrong direction.

"Boss! Where are we going? Aren't we going to Diesel City, umm, Bullet City?" the war boy asked.

"We are going east," Aurora answered. "Okay, I will inform others," the war boy said, and jumped back on the truck.

Furiosa locked up the iron shield and thick glass window.

Two cars, one armored truck, and four motorcycles were speeding toward the east. Meanwhile, dozens of different war vehicles were dispatched from the Century to chase the motorcade.

Meanwhile, in the truck, Manav stood up to drink water.

But the moment he touched the water-filled cup to his lips, a sweet, beautiful, but cunning voice filled with wisdom and cleverness sounded in his ears.

"Boy, now is the time to accept the ability, and your most desired two wishes to be fulfilled, so nap time."

"No, not this time, another tim…" Before Manav could say anything, he fell unconscious and fell on the metal floor with a loud thud.

The girls were frightened.

They quickly leaped toward Manav and checked his pulse and breath.

"He is alright, but why did he suddenly fall unconscious muttering, 'this is not the time' or something?" Cheers said in a puzzled and confused tone.

"According to the first aid thing he taught us before, he is just unconscious and needs proper rest," Lajawab said.

"Yes, let's lay him on the bed," Capable said.

Three of them picked Manav up and laid him on the bed.

After laying Manav on the bed, they also laid on the bed, surrounding him from other directions.

As for where the other two girls are, well, the timeline is early, so there are only three girls. "Cheers, go and inform Aurora that Manav is unconscious," Lajawab said.

Cheers stood up and opened the window leading to the driver's cabin.

"Aurora, Manav is unconscious," Cheers informed Aurora.

"Huh? What happened to him? Is he alright?" When Aurora heard this, she was suddenly uneasy and asked back to Cheers worriedly.

"He is alright, maybe working nonstop for the past three months, he is now unconscious because of the load on his body," Cheers explained back to Aurora.

When Auroraa heard this, her restlessness subsided, and she breathed a sigh of relief. "Okay, take care of him. When he wakes up, inform me," Aurora said calmly.

"Okay, I will," Cheers nodded and slipped back to the room.

The room is made to be full of air.

There will be no stoppage of air, even if the whole truck was locked in emergency mode for two days.

While the truck was going far from the road between Diesel City and the Century, Aurora noticed from the side-view mirror that the whole army from the Century was speeding toward the direction they were in.

She started speeding up the truck.

The truck's speed broke the barrier of 250 KMH.

When the dwarf son of Nikator noticed this from binoculars, he informed his father about this.

"Hurry up, we have to catch them before they can escape from my clutches," Nikator Joe yelled in fury and accelerated his double-floored car to full speed.

Other war vehicles also sped up their vehicles.

While the truck was speeding on the dystopian land, the war boys' escort vehicle was hit by the truck.

They flew to the other side and exploded. When the war boys on the roof of the truck saw this, they quickly leaped toward the truck's cabin.

The war boys hammered the armored cabin of the truck, which was locked by Aurora from inside, trying to break it.

But they failed, so they jumped back to the roof and started throwing explosives in front of the truck, hoping to stop it.

But nonetheless, to their tries, nothing happened to the truck except scratches. "Fools," Aurora said, and focused on driving the truck.

After half an hour of driving like this, the truck was very far from the army of the Century that was chasing Manav's armored truck.

"We are in the area of the enemy," Aurora said, and slowed down the truck's speed from 300 KMH to 200 KMH.

Suddenly, many cars and trucks appeared, jumping from the back of sand mounds.

All of those vehicles were covered in iron thorns.

"Here are the first enemies, the buzzers," Aurora said.

The buzzers group quickly surrounded the truck and crashed their thorny vehicles in front of the truck and its reinforced tires.

But except for scratches, nothing happened to the truck.

Aurora quickly accelerated the truck and crashed into the vehicles of the buzzers.

Two buzzer vehicles became metal scrap and exploded after rolling on the desert a few times.

Other buzzers saw this and started throwing explosives on the vulnerable parts of the truck.

But those parts were already reinforced by Manav.

The explosives used by the buzzers and the Century were produced from impure chemicals and minerals.

They were not very powerful.

If there was a modern grenade, maybe there was a chance to scrap down the truck.

But this is just an apocalyptic diesel punk world with a vast dystopian land.

How can there be such powerful grenades? Maybe the bullet group has a chance to scrap the truck if they can come near the truck.

Aurora was not that foolish to let other vehicles directly crash into the truck.

She knows that once the truck was turned, then they could only be prey to others. Although Manav had made the infrastructure of the truck so that it would not lose control, she still had to be careful.

There is no trust in luck.

Who knows when someone's luck reaches its peak or sends them directly to death.

The buzzers tried to stop the truck by crashing their vehicles in front of the truck. But the cow catcher on the truck was designed like a slope. If anything in front of the truck comes in contact with the cow catcher, that thing will just be pushed to the other side.

Aurora destroyed more than nine vehicles of the buzzers.

Now there are only two remaining, but they were just left behind by the speed of the truck.

Aurora sped up the truck because now they were reaching the rock valley.

She already knows the way of the rock valley, so there is no problem for her to drive between the road of the rock valley.

"Here come the bikers," Aurora said after glimpsing the shadows of the bikers from the window of the truck.

She fixed the speed of the truck between 150 KMH to 200 KMH.

Many bikers drove near the truck, hoping to climb on the truck.

But all of them were unlucky; they were crushed under the tires of the truck.

When the bikers on the rock mound saw this, he signaled the other bikers and sped up the bike forward the turn on the road in the middle of the rock valley.

After the other bikers got his signal, they blasted the rock bridge on the rock valley, thinking to crash the truck by heavy rocks
