When Manav was unconscious, he had appeared in front of goddess.
"So, boy, what do you think, you want all girls are one of them." Punk Goddess said with a smug smile on her face.
Manav saw the intention of goddess.
"Just one." Manav said, because he can't bear so many girls at one time.
"Okay, but you have to still bear the pain of many girls, but slowly." Punk Goddess said and snapped her fingers.
Manav didn't hear the last words of goddess, if heard.
He will definitely very angry with goddess, that she still wants to play with him.
Manav woke up, and found himself at a small sandy beach covered by a rocky cliff.
He found Gwen standing few meters far away from him, and looking at him strangely.
"Where are others?" Gwen asked.
"I don't know." Manav didn't tell her whole info.
"So, I am the one who you lust for?" Gwen said.
Manav didn't said anything.
"We will know after completing the missions given by Punk Goddess. But first we have to climb this cliff." Manav said.
"Okay." Gwen just nodded, she knew that punk goddess is playin with them.
After scaling a 100-meter-high cliff, Manav and Gwen reached the summit.
They lay on the smooth stone surface of the cliff to catch their breath.
Although Gwen had been strengthened by a spider bite, her powers had diminished by more than half after arriving in this world.
Only her web shooters were operational, but it was uncertain when their web supply would run out.
While Manav and Gwen were resting on the cliff's stone surface, they heard the sound of a train horn.
Both were surprised by the sound.
Having arrived in this world, they never anticipated encountering a train.
They had assumed this was merely an apocalyptic, diesel-powered world - a dystopian diesel-punk themed world.
"Wow, what a cool train!" Gwen exclaimed in awe. Manav nodded in agreement, "Indeed, punk-themed worlds have their own charm."
"Yeah, but now because of you, I am far from my father, trapped in this world with you," Gwen retorted while sitting on the stone in a lotus position.
"Hey, I've already told you, this isn't my fault, and I will help you get back to your world one day," Manav tried to reassure Gwen.
"Yeah, one day. I have to wait until that day and stay with a strange boy whom I don't even know whether he has some perverted tendencies towards me or not," Gwen responded, nodding her head like a duck and mimicking his tone.
"Okay, don't mimic me, at least believe me," Manav retorted, slapping his forehead in irritation.
Manav wondered how he could be so fond of a chatty girl whose mouth never stopped talking.
Gwen didn't respond and took out the binoculars from her bag.
She pointed them in the direction of the train.
As she followed the trajectory of the train, she noticed a horde gathering on the track, far ahead of the train.
"Whoa, what's going on? Aren't those people afraid that the train will kill them if they stand on the track?" Gwen exclaimed.
Manav snatched the binoculars from Gwen and pointed them in the direction the train was heading.
He saw the train and then turned to look far ahead of the train, where the train would be going.
He saw a horde gathering and walking towards the direction the train was coming.
Most of the horde was walking on the track.
He noticed the peculiar pattern of the horde walking towards the train on the track.
"No, those people are definitely strange, and their walking pattern is more like…"
Before Manav could finish his sentence, Gwen interjected loudly, covering her mouth with both hands,
"Zombies."
"Yes, zombies," Manav affirmed.
"By the way, have you watched Resident Evil?" Manav asked.
"Never heard of it," she replied.
"World War Z?" he asked again.
"Don't know," she shook her head.
"Train to Busan?" he asked yet another question.
"Never rode it," she replied.
"Zombieland?"
"Where is it?" she asked.
"Then what zombie movie have you watched?" Manav asked, slapping his forehead, tired of her indirect answers.
"Umm, I haven't watched any zombie movies, just heard my friends talking about them," Gwen admitted.
"Then you just said it, like firing an arrow in the dark randomly," Manav asked her, looking puzzled.
"Yay, but why are you talking so weirdly?" Gwen nodded and asked.
When Gwen didn't get an answer, she turned her face in Manav's direction to see what had happened to him.
She didn't find Manav where he had just been sitting and talking to her.
Her heart raced, and she was quickly overcome by restlessness.
She stood up and checked the entire area.
After she didn't find him on the cliff, she walked towards the slope, where there was a path leading down the hill.
She walked on the path leading down the hill. Suddenly, Manav appeared in front of her.
"Boo," Manav tried to scare her, hoping she would be frightened.
But the moment Manav appeared behind her, she quickly grabbed Manav's hand from her back, lifted him into the air, tackled his legs, and threw him in front of her.
"Ouch, why are you beating me down? I just tried to scare you," Manav complained, standing up from the ground and rubbing his waist.
"Who told you to scare me by disappearing suddenly? I was panicked," Gwen retorted angrily.
"You care for me?" Manav asked her, looking at her expression curiously.
"I do because you're my only way back, so don't dare think further," Gwen answered.
"Whatever," Manav said, and followed Gwen down the hill.
Both of them were checking whether there was any danger by scanning the area using binoculars.
The track where the zombie horde was gathering was just a few kilometers away from the hill where Manav and Gwen were.
Unbeknownst to Manav and Gwen, the entire train was derailed by the zombie horde.
After everyone on the train was killed, the zombie horde dispersed as if it had never existed before.
Manav climbed up a tree and surveyed the situation of the train.
When he saw the scene of the train fallen off the track, lying on the ground like a dead snake with smoke rising from everywhere, he was shocked.
He checked the situation of the zombies and found that there was no sign of zombies, except for blood and half-broken bodies without heads lying around.
He quickly jumped down from the tree.
When Gwen saw his frightened expression, she was both amused and worried.
"So, what did you see that scared the shit out of you?" Gwen teased Manav.
"You can see for yourself," Manav handed the binoculars to Gwen and sat on the ground, taking a sip of water from a leather pouch.
Gwen took the binoculars and climbed up the tree.
After a few minutes, Gwen came down and sat beside Manav.
She had the same expression as Manav when he first came down from the tree.
When she sat beside Manav, he handed her the leather pouch containing water.
She took the leather pouch and took heavy sips of water.
"Now you know, right?" Manav asked her.
"Know," Gwen said, shaking her head in disbelief.
"Yes, I never thought that zombies had this much power," Manav said in a tone of disbelief.
"Yes, they even overturned the running train from the track," Gwen added.
(Flashback)
The train was speeding on the track, sounding its horn now and then.
The driver saw that a zombie horde was gathering in front of the train track.
He quickly notified the train master.
The train master notified the Army General on the train.
When the General heard this, he said,
"Don't worry, just drive. This train is a newly made product of our engineers. Those cursed undead can't do anything. Just drive over them."
"But in general, their numbers…" Before the train master could say anything, the General interrupted him.
"Are you the General or am I?" the General asked.
"You are the general, sir!" the train master said.
"Then go and do what I ordered," the General said, waving his hands signaling him to go away.
"Yes, Sir!" the train master saluted and left the train cabin dedicated to the army general.
This train was a newly made military train, and now they were supplying new products to the border through the train.
The train master ordered the train driver to speed up the train.
The train driver tried to convince the train master, but the train master said it was an order from the general.
The train driver sighed and accelerated the speed of the train.
When the train started to decrease its distance from the zombie horde, the train driver, the train master, and the train staff were all worried.
But the soldiers on the train made a joke of them and told them not to worry.
The moment the train hit the zombie horde, the train's speed decreased quickly with the impact.
At first, the train dispersed most of the zombie horde. But suddenly, all the train's compartments started to fall off the track.
The entire train fell off the track.
Most of the train staff and soldiers fell out of the train and died from the impact of the crash.
As for the rest, before they could come to their senses, the zombies attacked them.
Many of them tried to fight back and had some success.
But the number of zombies was larger than them.
So, the soldiers' and train staff's efforts to fight back failed.
The zombies quickly defeated them.
Many of the soldiers and train staff were bitten or eaten by the hungry zombies.
After killing everyone on the train and sensing that there was no one alive, the zombies dragged the corpses of the army soldiers and train staff members with them.
They went back to the place from where they had come or to the next destination they wanted to go.
(Back to the scene of Manav and Gwen) Manav and Gwen decided to change their destination.
They thought of going in the direction from where the train had come.
Because they had already checked the possibility of the direction where the zombie horde had headed.
And the zombie horde had headed in the direction where the train was going.
Both of them were walking in the direction from where the train had come.
After walking like this for 4 hours, they saw that the sun would set in 1 or 2 hours.
They quickened their pace.
As for the clothes, both of them were wearing long robes, but because of walking for more than half a day, their clothes were dirty.
While walking, they heard the sound of a loud bell.
Manav was confused.
"It must be the bell of a church before prayer or something, but the town is not that far." Gwen said.
Manav understood.
Both of them increased their pace, and reached the town before night.
After reaching town Gwen and Manav encountered many food selling vendors.
Gwen was drooling, but Manav convinced her that he will let her eat as she likes in future.
After they found a park, and slept on the wooden benches in the park.
As for theft or anything, this town is under jurisdiction of military.
So they don't have to worry about it.
