Hazel's eyes widened, her breath bursting in and out as adrenaline surged through her veins. Someone was behind her, and Hazel suspected it was most likely a rogue.
She turned slowly to see who it was, her heartbeat racing so fast it hurt her chest. Steam from the warm water obscured Hazel's vision of the figure, making her even more nervous.
She backed away, shaking uncontrollably.
If it was one of the rogues who massacred her fellow omega, then she was doomed.
The figure trudged out of the fog, revealing herself, and upon seeing her, Hazel pressed her palm to her chest, letting out a sigh of relief. She recognized who it was.
"Ymir."
Ymir was an omega, just like her. Also a victim of Helena and Kayle's bullying, and one of the girls who Hazel had fought in here fight with Selena at the slave quarters before all this mess. Despite their relationship, Hazel was glad it was her and not a rogue.
