"And whose desire are you referring to?" Helen asked, but Thane's expression turned into a frown and he glared at her.
This reaction made Helen realize she had probably asked too many questions, and Thane wasn't going to forgive that.

He suddenly disappeared from her view, and Helen looked around, wondering where he went.
She then saw he was right beside her, and before she could even exhale, he released a powerful kick that hit Helen in the ribs, sending her body slamming into the jagged wall.
Kayle stood frozen in shock.

She watched her mother lying on the ground unconscious and then began to tremble.
