After Gabriel ended the call, Tamara dropped her phone on the table and continued with her work.
Tamara was working on her laptop when she heard a knock on her door. Closing her file she said "Come in", without raising up her head to check who it was.
When she didn't hear anything for the next minute, she finally raised up her head to check who it was. Tamara was surprised when she saw him still standing. "Axel, you're back". She said.
"I guess my wife didn't miss my presence at all", he said teasing her but in a serious tone.
Tamara didn't see that coming and remained silent. Without saying a word, he headed towards the three seater chair and sat down.
Glancing at his wrist watch, he said "it lunchtime, how about we go out for lunch break together". "Okay, let me finish with this first". She said clearing her table. "Done". She said five minutes later.
Standing up she took her Chanel hangbag that matched her navy blue dress that fell above her knees, with long sleeves and a classic collar. A small silver pin adorned the neckline, adding a touch of elegance.
They both left the office together. Outside her company, they entered a black Mercedes Benz S~class car, with Axel opening the door for her. "Thanks". She uttered smiling, entering the car. Axel closed the door for her and also entered the car passing the second door.
Immediately Axel entered the car, he told the driver to take them to The Cozy. After close to 40 minutes, they car finally stopped.
Axel and Tamara both got down from the car, entering the restaurant. "Welcome to The Cozy, Mr and Mrs Viltale". The manager said, showing them the way to their table.
They were seated by the window, where a flood of natural light illuminated the crisp white tablecloth. The soft hum of conversation and the gentle clinking of glasses created a smoothing background noise.
Just when they sat down, a waiter came with a menu to ask them to choose what they would like to eat. As they perused, Tamara finally spoke. "I'll go with Chicken parmesan with spaghetti and marinara sauce".
"Make it two plates each". Axel said. After collecting their menu, they waiter left.
In five minutes time the waiter came back with their food, serving it on the table for them. They both started eating when the food was served.

After Fiona left her dad office, she boarded an uber to take her home. 10 minutes after the ride, she got home. But when she entered the main gate she didn't see the car parked inside and guessed Dixon wasn't back home.
With a worried expression on her face, she went inside. She knew he deserved to be angry. Fiona sat down planing on how to make Dixon's anger vanish.
Before she knew it the door of the house was opened and when she raised up her head to check who it was, she saw her husband Dixon in a miserable condition.
As soon as he walked through the door, Dixon slammed his fist on the counter making Fiona nervous. Deja vu of what happened the night he hit her began to flash through her eyes.
His eyes blazed with a mix of humiliation and rage, fueled by the alcohol coursing through his veins. He glared at Fiona, his word slurring together as he snarled, "You and your perfect family, always thinking you're better than me!"
He stumbled towards her. "Your father thinks he his the best, being a condescending man and now you are just like him, aren't you? Thinking I am a loser and a failure!" His voice rose, echoing off the walls as he continued to rant.
