First milestone: 10 readers. Here is a bonus chapter to celebrate!
Aaron began to fire Bone Swords like a machine gun, and since his magic reached crazy levels, they began to pierce the shields and impale the zombies as well. He saw the woman in the dark armor speechless… she probably had her mouth hanging open due to the surprise. If it were before, he would feel pretty good about himself. Few things hit better than flexing, but Aaron had already experienced that too many times, so he didn't care.
Aaron kept firing Bone Swords in a straight line toward the throne, and then he also used the bodies to create more skeleton knights, and they moved to the sides to open a path toward the dark-armored woman.
It wasn't going to take long before he could kill her. Still, at the same time, Aaron felt the castle flying in another direction instead of moving upward.
"Hey, stop this. You won't achieve your plan as long as I am here," Aaron shouted.
The castle began to gain speed, and it was flying pretty fast… at that rate, it would take only a few hours before it could cross the border. Aaron felt that he could finish the job way before that, but it might be dangerous if a thing of that size falls in a populated area. It would be even more dangerous if the zombies didn't die alongside her and began to spread across the world.
The woman couldn't escape because of the tubes attached to her back. That was what let her control the castle and the zombies… while her death was imminent, she was still willing to do everything to accomplish her goal.
"I could have made this thing fall if I had just one of those mana bombs, but my skeletons should be far away with them now…" Aaron clenched his teeth in annoyance and then focused on attacking the woman.
Before long, the bone swords eventually reached the woman, and they easily pierced her armor as well, impaling her in her own throne… she stopped moving, but the castle didn't… the zombies were also moving the same way as before.
"Shit…" Aaron clenched his teeth and then approached the woman in the dark armor.
After pulling her helmet, Aaron saw her smiling… She was still alive with five bone swords impaling her torso and even her chest as well. She was a blond woman in her twenties, and she was quite pretty, but now her face looked like a living corpse.
"Fufufu, I am a zombie as well," The woman said while smiling. "I am connected to the whole castle and my zombies. "I won't die until they are all destroyed. Even if you cut the connection, my orders will still stand for a day, more than enough time to reach my goal. I won't be able to see that with my own eyes, but it is a cheap price… my people will have this entire world for them, and those bastards will all die thanks to their century-long despise. Come to think of it, I wouldn't want to live in this body anyway. So, it doesn't matter."
"... You shithead," Aaron said and then summoned another bone sword to his hand. "This magic virus will kill everyone in the world… if you can't control it, it will work by itself. You are their head, but they will keep moving, and they will attack everything like those dark hounds… you used them as test subjects, didn't you? How come you didn't expect that things would end like that?"
The woman looked away, she could imagine that things might take a dark turn like that, but she didn't care… she also knew that her people would be fine with that outcome as well. It will be fine if they aren't the only ones suffering. It will be better than nothing.
After clicking his tongue, Aaron cut the tubes and then turned around to see the mayhem…. too many zombies were there, and they were still coming. Dealing with them was a waste of time; Aaron could let his skeletons do that.
In the end, he moved to the center of the room and then began to hit the floor with bone spears after he made them level up. With each impact, the ground trembled and cracked, and it didn't take long before it revealed the path underground. There were a lot of chambers that could move around and were bringing the zombies, but he kept destroying them as he moved to the base of the structure.
"It's useless. This can't be stopped anymore," The woman said while grinning.
"If you say so," Aaron muttered and kept working.
Before long, Aaron found a massive warehouse storing the zombies below the castle… he ignored them. He kept digging further until he reached the next level, and then he found a magic laboratory. Just as he had expected, he found some cages filled with the dark hounds and some tables filled with people who were chained to them… receiving blood from some capsules on the side of the table. The woman probably mixed her own blood and the dark hounds to create that. It didn't explain how she could control them yet, but that wasn't important… stopping the zombies had been created was better than that.
