In the distance, a formidable army of skeletons emerged, their bony forms rattling with an eerie coordination as they advanced toward the humans. A chilling wind swept across the field, carrying whispers of the sorcery that had animated these long-forgotten remains.
The army of humans, clad in gleaming armor, stood in disciplined ranks, their weapons at the ready. They bore the emblems of their noble houses, united under a common goal. Their faces were filled with determination, tinged with a hint of anxiety as they saw the unholy sight before them.
A deafening silence fell upon the battlefield as the skeletal horde closed in. The humans held their breath, their eyes fixed on the lifeless adversaries, uncertain of what awaited them. The clash of steel on bone seemed inevitable.
Aaron was impressed. The king and the queen made their preparations and finished them in a matter of weeks. Still, they were smart enough to only attack and destroy his skeletons once everything was ready.
"I guess I am getting ahead of myself," Aaron thought. "All of my experience in making me arrogant and underestimating these people… it also makes me think that some harsh words would be enough to stop them and make sure that they wouldn't do the same thing after making them shit their pants out of fear. Sometimes, I forget that a cornered beast is the most dangerous one."
Aaron was still learning, and he had to learn it more… to avoid that kind of thing from happening ever again, he would have to kill everyone involved in the research. It was going to be hard to do that… it was just easier to kill everyone in the city where the research had started.
Regardless, Aaron could see pretty far away with his high Perception, but he didn't find any signs of the king and the queen. Based on their words and what they did before, he didn't think that they would try to escape in the middle of the battle, but… at least Aaron could see that the entire city was ready to face him. Even civilians were on the walls, ready to throw all sorts of things at him… rocks, boiling water, hot oil, arrows, spears.
"It seems that I made my point the last time I was here, but at the same time, they don't want to see me getting close to them anymore," Aaron thought. "I should have known."
Aaron wanted to finish all that as soon as possible as well. Still, he couldn't make his skeletons just advance until he got rid of the cannon that was able to almost showdown the castle… still, the enemies were smart enough not to show their cards so soon."
"Maybe it is in the castle… that would be their best and final layer of defense," Aaron thought while furrowing his eyebrows. "Well, no matter. Charge."

The field was in eerie anticipation, bathed in the fading light of the setting sun. A heavy silence hung heavy in the air, broken only by the distant whispers of impending doom. At the forefront of the battlefield stood an unholy alliance, an army of skeletons, resurrected from their eternal slumber, standing side by side with towering clay golems, animated guardians of the earth.
With a bone-chilling battle cry that sent shivers down the spines of all who heard it, the skeletal warriors surged forward. Their bony forms clattered and rattled with malevolent energy as they charged toward the army of humans.
Beside them, the colossal clay golems, their stone bodies infused with ancient magic, thundered across the battlefield, their steps shaking the earth beneath. Massive fists clenched, they moved with an insane agility, blending raw power with supernatural grace.
The clash was inevitable as the two forces met in a cataclysmic collision. The skeletons, armed with rusted swords, struck with relentless fury. Their bony fingers curled around the hafts of their weapons, their hollow eye sockets glowing with an unnatural light. They lunged at the human, driven by dark intent.

Aaron didn't know how many on their side they had. Still, against level thirty-five skeleton knights, level fifty skeleton mages, and clay golems, one didn't have to be a genius to see how things would end. The skeleton army was piercing through the human army with ease… the skeleton mage on the backline was making Fireballs rain over the enemies as well… Fireballs that were as big as humans. When they were hit, they were burned to death instantly.
Aaron didn't know if he should be happy for only hearing screams of fear and shouts of anger, but while he didn't listen to screams and grunts of pain since the enemies didn't have time to feel that, he still felt like he had the worst type of job in the universe.
