As we're getting closer and getting ready to leave the ship to the Trade Ship... Me and Thea, is sitting on the entrance of the ship, waiting for Victor who's still sitting in the cockpit making sure that we're entering the Trade Ship and having a place to park our ship.
Thea, asked me one last time as a reassurance that I will do what she asked me to. "So, Captain... Have you given what I requested a proper thought?" With her looking at me with hope, it makes it hard for me to say no to her request. Which is "Okay, Thea. Since you and Victor are my first ever crew, I guess I can nice you both and get you a proper room each. However, Thea... I need to know why do you want to have a room for yourself?"
From the way Thea requested the personal room, it feels like it is unpleasant to be in the same room as Victor. Is he Loud or is he just crazy?
"Victor is just too loud, Captain. Not only that he talks a lot by himself. Also, Captain. A lady needs her privacy, you know?"
"Good enough reasoning I guess... I'll arrange and get some materials for your room first. Then I can make Victor's one."
"Great! Thank you, Captain, You're certainly a better Captain than my Brother already!"
She's for some reason happy out of her mind. I don't know why but well, good for her, I guess... Also, it seems Victor is a very orderly man in the Abyssal Null Knight, which is understandable...
It might seem like I have preferential treatment for Thea... That's because it is preferential. She's the only lady in this ship. Victor and I are both boys and we can survive in any condition and not care too much what were given to us...
Anyway, as we were just chatting around like usual, Victor left the main part of the ship and went to the entrance as well.
"Captian, Thea. We're here." Victor explained, looking all casual but still having a dagger on his waist. Honestly, I didn't know he had a casual look with him since I found him using a full set of armor.
Thea looked at him and nodded, acknowledging the vibe that Victor is using.
"Okay, if that's the vibe we're going. I suppose I can follow suit." Thea then tap the middle of her armor and then her armor started to disappear, revealing a spacesuit underneath. Then, she tap her spacesuits and reveal a more casual clothing, which is a nice black dress...
"Nanotech for your Suits and Armor? That's pretty convenient..." I commented on their nanotechnology equipment.
"Yes, it's a very special equipment that Victor design. Although Nanotech is very common, it's not easy to create a nanotech layer like this." Thea seems to be proud of the advance technology that they have...
We leave the ship and then started walking from our ship toward the entrance of the Trade Market... The size of the ship is so gigantic that when I look at the ceiling, the depth feels like I'm looking to the sky. That's how far it felt...
"Since this is your first time here, Captain. I must warn you that, do not get scammed by the people around here. Although the place here is owned by a corporate, those who operate in here, isn't. They're an independent trader, making it solely a deal between you and them." Thea warned me. Which feels necessary for me to know.
Victor, who's walking in front of us both, started to pick up the pace of his speed and Thea seems to understand the meaning behind it. They looked at each other for a bit and then looked away once again. Before Thea immediately stating "Captain, do you want to go with me and take a look at some nanotech?"
"Oh? You'll help me with it?"
"Yes. I know you've been eyeing our nanotech suits since we left. Fortunately, I have some folks that is going to help us acquire those resources." Thea explained. So naturally, I nodded and then Victor said "I'll go ahead and take a look at the material needed to make our room captain."
"Okay. I'll see you here in about 3 hours or so. If you need anything, go to the ship and ask Gaidos for some assistance. Gaidos can immediately connect itself to me."
"Oh, neat! Alright. Stay safe out there!" Victor left with a smile and Thea immediately lead the way to the side. While Victor goes North, We go to the East and walk into a particular area in the Trade Ship. Which is an area where people seem to be showing their product to those who's walking to the area.
The deeper we go, the more formal it became, slowly becoming more and more like an exhibition of product and technology. Naturally, the deeper we go, the more amazing the technology becomes.
"Anything fancy your eyes, Captain?" Thea asked, knowing that I have been looking and listening to all the people explaining their products.
The seriousness of my face shows and that makes Thea wonder whether I wanted to buy something just now.
"Although there's a lot of things that catches my eyes, such as an advance technology that allows the material you use to naturally change shape depending on the setting you chose... It's not really something that I needed right now. It's good, yes... But it's not worth our resources right now because in my eyes, the essence of that technology is the ease of use for you to change your weapon based on your style." I explained to Thea my reasoning, something that I understood deeply because it fits my need in the future.
But, I would rather have Nanotech that allows me to create some armor like Thea and Victor so that I don't waste time changing into it. Those type of technology is more crucial to me than the changing shape of material. Because I do like creating weapon and equipment by myself because it allows for some absolute creative control behind it...
Thea understood my reasoning as she understand my thought process well. She continue to take me deeper into the exhibition and eventually, we find the place where Her and Victor gets their Nanotech from... It's pretty far to the end, which means that this technology is advanced indeed...
"This is the place, Captain. Paolo's Nanotek. A place where me and Victor spend quite a lot of our time figuring our armor up." Thea excitedly takes me into the showroom and I was mesmerized with what's inside...
