As I'm standing beneath the starry sky in a tank filled up to the brim with boiling hot water. Flames burning away, licking at the dark heavens. I can hear every uncomfortable though coming from within the four walls.
Over the last few years I've learned a new technique. It's a little like telekinesis but instead of communicating like King Kai do, I use it somewhat differently. I need to focus a portion of my energy and be completely relaxed for it to work. With some advanced training I believe that this technique could be mastered. I can actually hear their thoughts, and at this moment I wish that I couldn't.
"You know Hun, Goten seems to be rather fond of Melody," I told my wife; trying to get the uncomfortably feelings out of my head. "I like her too, she's a pleasant young woman," Chichi informed me. I know that she adores her, so her feedback shouldn't at all be a surprise to me, but it is. "Chichi, he likes her way more then he should under the circumstances," I concluded matter of factly. "What seems to be the problem Goku?" She asked me as she gave me a towel. "The problem, however, is that our son is already dating somebody. He's actions isn't fair to Valese," I answered her self-explained question like it's the most obvious answer in the book. "Take us for example; you wouldn't like it if I got wondering eyes, now would you?" I asked my wife. She shook her head in an answering manner.
I'm glad that she understands my point of view. Sure it wasn't a fair illustration, seeing how their relationship isn't signed in ink. I might not have always been present when the boys grew up, but I never taught them the ways of dishonesty or anything that walks hand in hand with deceitfulness. Goten made his bed and now he has to sleep in it.
