Ajax was still on call when he saw her running forward. "What the hell?" he muttered. "Hey Mark, I'll call you later."
The lady had made her way to his side now, panting loudly as she tried to catch her breath. Her brown hair was a mess as it has been tousled as if a squirrel had been hunting for its dinner.
She had pale eye color and they shone brightly on him.
"This hall has been booked. What the hell...how did you manage to get in with those guards..."he stretched his head looking for the men who were supposed to be outside on the look out.
"Please give me your phone! I need it, thank you." She said then brought small hands and was ready to grab his phone!
She was short so he just reached upward, making her jump to try to take it.
Shoot! Where was his glove? This is a mad woman here.
"Stay back, lady! I'll call the cops right now," he warned but she was proving to be darn stubborn. "This isn't happening, broad day light robbery?!"
"Please sir, give me your phone! Give me your phone, mister. Come on, come on!" the lady insisted, still struggling to take the phone from him.
"Get away from me you mad woman. Don't touch me!" Ajax had never encountered someone like this before...especially without his gloves on!
He took steps back, running from her but immediately, so fast, she jumped forward and reached for his hand.
It was a firm touch, making all the hair in his body stand up. Suddenly, his throat dried and he was instantly thirty. His eyes shone bright like a wizard about to cast a spell with his vision.
"Please give me your phone already!" the lady roared out, her eyes transforming into an ugly expression; big pale gray eyes, small pouted lips with dimples crinkling.
"Did you just...touch me?" the words managed to escape from Ajax' lips so calmly that he could barely even hear his own voice. He had let go of the lady struggling with his phone now and just stared with complete shock.
"Are you okay, sir? I need to take your phone, I'll be right back okay?" The lady said, taking big steps back as she began to dial a number. "Hey Bianca, I'm ruined. I'm ruined Bianca!"
Ajax watched her continue to talk, the words running so fast from her lips he could barely catch anything. But he was still dazed anyway.
How did she do it? How could she...how?!
After a couple of minutes later, she ran back. With all his might, Ajax forced his body to pull backwards so hard he almost collapsed to the floor.
The lady frowned, then came closer again.
Ajax ran this time, and waited until he was at least twenty steps from her.
"Stay back!" He yelled. His own heart was pounding inside him. She must be a witch! Or a...robot! Of course she was a robot.
But even androids as realistic like that would have been designed to have human skin...
"Mister, thanks for the phone!" The lady yelled back. She raised the phone up as it asking where to drop it.
"O-on the floor. Throw it down and leave!" Ajax said.
She did as he said but carefully placed the phone on the floor, then turned to leave. Suddenly, she turned to face him again and he flinched.
"Do you have twenty bucks, sir?" She yelled out.
Ajax was still staring with his mouth wide opened. He reached for his front pocket and threw all the cash he had on him.
The lady stared for a while, her brows arched in confusion, then she bent to take the amount she needed and disappeared, leaving Ajax to his thoughts.
She must be a ghost, possessing a poor human.

Reaching home, Amber found herself being saved by a group of local thugs that raided the stadium where people were robbed and hurt. Her friend, Bianca had called her and given her the updates.
She would cry and pretend to be amongst the victims. If she had told her mother in law she'd been careless with her bag while saving someone, she would beat her to death.
Her husband, Hudson was already waiting outside for her. Amber blinked repeatedly, trying to force tears from flowing down her eyes but she just couldn't.
"Amber? Oh my love you're okay!" he saw her and rushed to meet her. "Are you hurt? Are you okay?" He did a quick body check before pulling her into a tight hug.
Her mother in law was outside along with Maya now, glaring at her suspiciously.
"I'm so sorry, I failed mother. Oh my goodness, she will kill me today!" Amber decided to be extra dramatic. She rushed forward to kneel in front of Sarah.
"Forgive me mother! I was robbed. I was hurt, I've never been so scared like this before in my life!" she cried out.
"It's okay, child. Thank goodness you're okay." Sarah managed to say. Amber could just see how much hate was filled in her voice.
Maya only frowned.
"Are you kidding me? Mother can't be mad at you. You would have been dead. Oh I'm so glad you came back to me!" Hudson said and hugged her again.
Amber was so relieved that was over.
During dinner after Amber had cooked, she decided to throw a question that had been disturbing her for a while now.
She knew Hudson wouldn't like it, but it was worth it.
"Hey Hudson? I have a question to ask you,"
"Can't you see we're eating you moron!" Sarah yelled out. Her daughter shot her a disgusted look.
"Don't mind mother. Ask your question." Maya said.
For some reason, Maya loved to pretend she was nice each time her brother was around, always playing Mrs. Nice girl.
"Thank you, sister Maya." Amber said. "I want to get a job. What do you say about that?" She said at last.
Hudson threw his fork to the table, Maya continued her food slowly, but a smile stayed on her face. Sarah roared out in laughter.
"You? Because you're a graduate, you think they would hire a woman like you with no experience whatsoever." Sarah said.
Immediately Amber graduated from college, she agreed to marry Hudson since he was rich. Her foster parents had suffered enough and she saw a shot at making them enjoy again, since she knew it would take a while before she could find a decent job and start earning.
Hudson gave her money and she set up a business for her foster mom and they were happy and all. Except, Amber always wanted to work and live her life. Now five years into the marriage and she had never worked once in her life!
"But wait mother, maybe she meant as a cleaner." Maya said.
Only Hudson was silent.
"Hudson, say something." Amber persuaded, ignoring her inlaws mocking her.
"And who will do the house chores, Amber? Mother? Or Maya who goes out to work too? Who, huh? I've told you many times, don't look for money. I'm already doing that. Stay here and take care of the house, is that too hard to do?"
Amber said nothing but suddenly, her insides churned of uneasiness. She felt a little anger too, but was too weak to say anything.
"Okay, Hudson." She said at last. If keeping quiet was what would save her marriage, then she would do just that.
